I guess it depends on if you have gotten to know someone a little but if someone asked me that out right (like on a first meeting) because it was that important to them or it's all they were wanting to know, I would probably feel really put off because I think it's to personal for anyone to have to answer to especially when you don't know somebody. I'm not sure why it's such a focus for some people or how it impacts the actual relationship. I think the relationship has to build up to it before getting that personal with somebody be it girl or guy.
For both men and women, there is always a fear that if their potential partner has done it before marriage, he/she might continue doing it afterwards as well. This fear can grow into a monster afterwards and can be devastating for the marriage. If this is really important for him then he should simply ask her in a decent manner.
Instead of asking (which might offend people because you're questioning their character), perhaps the guy's demands can be made clear. It's kinda like saying "i wont accept smokers" and the other party can just back off.
Ps: the guy should expect his chastity to be questioned too being of a mature age and not married.
If a guy has doubt then he should not marry anyone. since no one will ever tell him that she is virgin or not. or might be she would lie (if guy is potential rishta for her). So its a wrong question to ask imo.
I don't have any problem with not being virgin by other ways like dildos and stuff. But if she is not virgin because she has been sleeping around then that's a problem
Does it count if you are a virgin by choice, or because you are not desirable.
Men are, more often than not, virgins due to lack of opportunities (not being desirable enough)
Women are almost always virgins by choice (or fear of social repercussions)
Women at the bottom of desirability scale can get laid easily if they want to. They don't face that constraint.
Women are way more sheltered in our culture than men, so in this case, I'd be questioning your guy friend's virginity more than a woman's.
That goes for any culture. Women are more sheltered and the face greater consequences of sex. But that doesnt necessarily mean that your average Jane hasnt had more relationships and sexual expereinces than the average Joe.
Guess what? In the US, among college going age youth, there are more male virgins than female ones. Can you guess why that's the case?
hard to believe a guy in his later 30s in georgia is a virgin
Maybe he's not that attractive and doesn't want to pay for sex. You do realize that us men face certain pressures..not being good looking, well built, confident, charming, exciting enough. Unlike women.
