Its so common these days, people falling in love over the internet, starting up relationships, ending up getting hurt, etc.
For some its just fun and pass time to play with someone’s feelings.
Internet has become a very powerful weapon.
Has it ever victimized u?

Yes, it indeed is a powerful tool.....
I dont mind admitting it. Perhaps others could learn from my mistake.
I was Moderator at some other Forum, Urdu....in poetry section.
Now after a long period, the owner/admin/etc. proposed and our families
began to talk and eventually plan wedding etc.
This coward, he had promissed yet another woman marriage BEFORE
even getting married with me, which I didnt know of. Im not the jealous type,
always knew he had tons of xs and girlfriends wanting to have him.....but since he was engaged with me, I didnt feel insecure until the day, he told me
this girlfriend cooked meals for him and would dress up to meet him.....
Now, sadly enough.....it was my own choice. I was naive and trusted him with a lot of money...Business in his name, as the stupid dumb Pathani I am. aqlless Im now divorced and at peace. More succesfull than ever, thanks to Allahjee. But my pride and trust in people...is equal zero. He could had given me a choice, I would never had gone for him IF I knew his dirty niath.
So there are lots of wanna be and fraudia out there. My mum's health was really affected by my blunder..... There is no difference between a thief and such a pathetic man. But Allahjee has surely dealt with both of them.....!

you do know, if you can prove that money was your with a paper trail, and if this is america, you can void his claim over ownership and successful show that it was in good faith you can claim you had a oral agreement , im not a lawyer or anything but i hope some1 told u to check into that

It depends how “aqalmand” U R. because u could figured it out if some one is saying hey I am in love with U or U R my jano:wink: That means he/she is just kidding. It doesn’t mean he/she wants to hurt any body,s feelings.
If someone never indicate you that she/he that she/she wants to make personal relation it is UR or that person’s mistake( who falls in LOVE blindly) khyr bachpany ky ishaq aysy hi hoty hain be positive. Don’t think ky jysi muhubbat mujhy os sy hy woh bhi kary.

No Doubt internet is a powerful weapon but still my personal opinion is no it is not enough to play with emotions. We are humaneness we need to adjust our emotions and try to understand others.

The first time I got the net was when I was in my early teens, it was those AOL dial up ones...
I met this Bible-belt American my age in an AOL chatroom and thought I was in love, lol...
My God the conversations we would have, we'd probably have been lynched or stoned if either of our communities read them, it was a breath of fresh air, we were so different yet so similar, we were from completely different cultures yet had the same issues... We would talk about eloping and running away when we turned 18, we'd never even seen each but we had mental images from the descriptions we gave each other, we use to talk about settling down and buying our own farm in Devon or America, lolz, we had it all planned...
I use to get goosebumps every time I heard that "door creaking sound" that happens when ever someone comes online on AOL..
Once my papi was reading Urdu news on the Jang website using my username and this other person starts sending me this big message "Hiya sexy, I've been thinking about you all day at school today, I couldn't keep my hands off myself..." My God, my father was disgusted "yeh kiya bayhooda bakwaas hai?"
"Abbu koi dost hai, aisay hi mazaak kar raha hai", he wasn't convinced but I guess due to the awardness of it all he pretended to be.
God I was so different back then, I could never run away and envision a life like that now..
