Re: Is Indian culture invading Pakistan?
…excellent point!
Re: Is Indian culture invading Pakistan?
So you take Indian Filmi actors as part of the whole sole"Muslim Culture"
… Movies are a fantasy, being directed by a director written by an author & acted by actors ,as many others already know it…
Re: Is Indian culture invading Pakistan?
Explain the point please…He said Salman/Shahrukh represent the muslim culture of India…& you are laughing like hell???Muslim culture is represented by their belief in Oneness of God & Following all the pillars of Islam ,which many Indian Muslims do…I don’t think Hindus do all that…right???Then most muslim women(commoners) do try to be decent in their dressing…if they wear sari…they do try to hide their nude belly…Regarding media…it is a different story…If someone is doing “arti” on TV… 98% of Muslim women don’t do it for sadqa purposes at their home…I don’t think that’s a big issue…Issue comes when you start forgetting the pillars of Islam & call yourself Hindu…One such ‘thing’ is that Abdul Kalam, the present president of India…
Re: Is Indian culture invading Pakistan?
yeah, abdul kalam should get permission from islam's father in law, pakistan, before he calls himself muslim. why is it to difficult for pakistanis to accept that indian muslims are not all arab-wannabes and can even be comfortable in their native language and culture?
Re: Is Indian culture invading Pakistan?
No you should define what is the supposed muslim culture of india? (if not the khans then who represents “it” !).
We are talking cultural influences so don’t beat around the bush with this director / actor story (.. I know how majority of Pakis maybe even you go watch indian moves so what’s the hate then???).
I mean if I said it that I will be less hypocritical as I have watched 4-5 indo movies in my entire life but when hypocrites come bash khans and then have secret crushes on them (ermm.. girls!) then that’s just &$)(!.. ![]()
Re: Is Indian culture invading Pakistan?
Who is talking about hate here...Indian culture(with hindu rasoomat)is for indians(just like chinese culture is for chinese people).....ok so according to you...Indian movies are indian culture...if you think so you may be right......
Re: Is Indian culture invading Pakistan?
Where the hell is jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Hind when you need them the most?
they should be more involved in indian poltics I say we support them just like the indians supported balochi, sindhi, mohajir parties in pakistan
Re: Is Indian culture invading Pakistan?
Busy watching Govinda movies with bollybuster.
Re: Is Indian culture invading Pakistan?
I don't know why some Indians don't understand that Pakistan was created because at that time it became obvious that Hindus & Muslims of India have 2 different cultures,2 different living styles & 2 different religions....& this is now the basis of social, economic & cultural structure of Pakistan...Although Pakistani society has innate foundations similar to that of Indian cultures but obviously it is ethnically islamic/muslim in its character...now if someone calls it an "arab wannabe" or whatever...they have to tolerate with the fact that 97% of Pakistanis are & would remain muslims(which in most instances is equated to being Arabs or Arab culture)....
Re: Is Indian culture invading Pakistan?
i dont give two hoots about what pakistanis think they are, but if you want to act like islam is your baap's jageer and start telling indians, including abdul kalam they arent muslim, you can shove it up your distinctive bungholio. shukran, ya arabi habibi.
Re: Is Indian culture invading Pakistan?
why he is not declared apostate by muslim countries? how about osama?
Re: Is Indian culture invading Pakistan?
Whatever…the guy himself claims, what i mentioned…doesn’t require any research…I don’t know why Indians are so crazed about what Pakistanis want or don’t want to be…Besides one thing is forsure… one of the reason for Pakistanis disliking towards indians is the difference in religion(a common Pakistani would call a common indian a hindu banya)…no question about it…now digest it & shove it upto your big flatulous rotato…
this is obviously the most"common difference between Pakistani & Indian culture"…This is what Shaista Rameez is lamenting here too…i.e Pakistanis shouldn’t turn hindus(by repeating their customs)…It is though unfortunate but is the reality that main stem difference between the two is "religion…(hindu or muslim) & then ofcourse the cultural practices between the 2…oh ya…some illiterate people don’t realise that all muslims are not arabs…
Re: Is Indian culture invading Pakistan?
Who cares what he is … Besides who can even spend time talking about him:hehe:…(& i wonder why spend my two liner on him)…He is responsible for his own deeds…
Re: Is Indian culture invading Pakistan?
I kind of agree with Goliko, 90+ % of Pakistanis are already culturally similar to Indians except for religion, and religion is the most important thing to us, it’s not just limited to spirituality but it influences our political affiliations, our values, our morals, our outlook on life, our aspirations. The rest of culture is just language, cuisine, costume, architecture and arts, things which are nice but not that important.
It’ll be fine to refer to Pakistan as a Muslim India because 90+ % of us have a similar culture to Indians, but religion is enough to set us apart and justify our country's existence, Pakistanis are just as content with their heritage as Indians are but our universal religion Islam is more important to us. I feel more at home with an Arab Muslim than I do with a Persian speaking Zoroastrian or a Hindi/Urdu speaking Hindu even though they’re from closer to home and speak my language.
Re: Is Indian culture invading Pakistan?
Oh Your Royal Highness, The Great Prince of Persia, I am sure you meant a Zoroastrian speaking Persian, and not the other way around.
Any ways you are Prince and by the Royal Decrees you are permitted to put your foot in your own mouth.
Tasleem kerne wala Icon:rolleyes:
Re: Is Indian culture invading Pakistan?
There is no language called zoroastrian ..
Re: Is Indian culture invading Pakistan?
Did I Speak German,
Blitzkrieg Bhai,
The PRINCE OF PERSIA issued a Fatwa that, he would be happier with a Arab Muslim rather than a "PERSIAN" speaking ZOROASTRIAN.
Your point would have been valid had it been directed at the PRINCE, but hopelessly looks like you jumped the gun, Blitzkrieg Bhai did you get it yet, or are you just as simple as You seem.
Aejaz
Re: Is Indian culture invading Pakistan?
Ok.. ![]()
Let’s see, if some one is latin and speaks spanish, we would probably say spanish speaking american than american speaking spanish if we were to refer to him?
Get the drift?
I don’t know where you live?
