It's ahead of Pakistan, I agree. However it is not 'Far ahead' as you have stated, and is still far behind the level of putting itself in 'competition' with China.
It is definitely far ahead. I don't see the point of arguing over trvial issues like 'what exactly is AHEAd and FAR AHEAD'.
For sure China is a step ahead of India. That's why India needs to compete with them and strive to uplift themselves to China's level.
