All politicians, actors, models, players everyone does it in legal way. There are tonz of politicians in Pakistan (and I am sure in India too) whose tax returns does not match their living style. For instance I have seen this minister always using at least 30 Million Rs car (not officials but his private car) but as per his income tax returns he only own half million Rs although his munshi (accountant) owns land worth around 200 Million. Can someone believe this? NO but is the tax return legal? YES. Tax returns of such personalities beats any comedy books hands down but they all those returns are legal. Absolutely nothing illegal.

I disagree. Tendulkar’s case is totally different. Politicians and film stars of our sub continent evade taxes to hide their black money (BTW our ministers are more corrupt than yours). tendulkar is doing what corporate sector does, i.e. finding every possible way to get a waiver on its legal income.
I personally do same thing, i try to find every possible way to get waiver during my tax filing. but then i dont have any black money and i only drive a nissan .
