This kind of argument looks good on the surface only ( and is made on purpose to look good).
It does not really mean anything, since some people would just simply look at the wrose case scenario and think of other option being legit or good. Sorry, this is very poor technique of argument.
It’s not like for orphans there are no other better options. Those options would still be far better than one you proposed in haste and zeal of making a seemingly good argument.
