Hitting wife in Islam is NOT ALLOWED
respected brother, this is not correct. Off course, I'm not taking severe beating here. As others have mentioned before, Islaam allows a man to hit her wife lightly as a last resort if she does something immoral and doesn't stop doing it. and Allah Ta'ala knows best

Something immoral? There can be lots of little and big immoral things....if she commits zina and doesn't stop doing it then only the husband can beat her slightly with a tooth brush or siwak just to humiliate her and not to harm her physically.

mabrook this is exactly wat i heard about beating a wife in islam. watever hareem said. jst hit her with a siwak. so now imagine for urself how much hitting with a siwak will hurt? nuthign at all. and still we'r not sure bout this thing. so using this as a daleel to hit ur wife is LAME.
and plz will u tell us wats the husband's excuse for hitting her? if u dont mind. is he accusing her of adultry or wat?
