calling police is good if u wanna leave the guy otherwise its "aa baail mujhay maar"there were some cases where wife called police teling the guy abuses her n kids.So the social services got involved automatically.now they got separated but ppl keeping patching them up.they kept fighting.social service finally took all their kids away saying its unhealthy for them in such an enviroment
well its no socil services that made it an unhealthy environment, any environment where the husband is hitting the wife or vice versa is an unhealthy environment.
calling the shurtas was not the issue, teh dynamics of this marriage were the issues.
obviously i suppose our culture prefers the second option where the wife gets beaten and takes it, or goes to her maika, husband brings her back, some peace and quiet and it happens again. marvelous place for kids to grow up.
