As another example, I remember reading about a story about this young Hindu girl, who when she was getting married, her fiance's side started to demand stuff from the girl's family- and her parents were giving in to each of their demands. The girl, however called the police, and the guy got arrested. After that incident she became a celebrity, and she got many many suitors.....
