it is haram to have more than one wife these days as it is only allowed in times of absolute/extreme need of looking out for a woman’s welfare

i find it completely wrong that any man should have more than one wife, as i’m sure many muslims do

ppl choose to interpret islamic law to suit their own needs/wants which is indeed haram

You just interpreted your own view on how many wives a man can/should marry in Islam. I dont think it is haram to interprete Islam personally, but most would disagree with me.
