^ Semi to answer your argument, think of certain deeds as hot boiling milk and yourself as a kid who is desperate to go for it. Now think of God as a mother who tells you to be patient for a while and then you can have it. But this is just an example of keeping yourself away from lust. Now, when humans were ordered (by the God) it was not for the sake of hot milk but because of a bet. Yes you heard me RIGHT a** BET** or a PROMISE that was committed between God and SATAN. SATAN promised to GOD that I will lure humans and make as many sinners as possible. To believer of Islam and other holy books, understanding this point is like a battle between evil and good.

Coming back to the point of shorts and playing soccer, neither one is haram. Short is not a prescribed dress as it reveals parts of the body those are suppose to be covered but again it falls under minor SIN not HARAM though

Why do you give so many clues that you are nothing more then a 15 year old either physiclally or emotionally who knowlege of religion is limited to what your mullah taught you in the local mosque after school?
This question mera dost, is if you are allowed certain things in heaven that you arent on earth then that means that things tat are bad are only bad in some situations but not in others… Seems hypocritical.
If you cant answer this question then you should stay tight lipped… Jazak…

Why would God promise an eternity filled of the very ‘evils’ we are to avoid in this life, including the most carnal and evil of pleasures? That sounds like a bribe. “*It’s evil now, but if you just avoid it for the short time while you are on earth I will make it the most righteous of rewards” *

What does that have to do with spirituality or getting closer to God? To sacrifice on this earth to receive those same taboos for eternity doesn’t seem to get you there.

It’s about sacrifice and showing restain. Religions inevitably expect their adherents to believe in things that would seem absurd to believers of other religions. Some of the believers take and understand things literaly, others don’t. The point is any believer of a particular religion must agree and follow the orders and guidlines so that he/she can enter into the heaven.
