No, it’s the opposite actually. They say the source of our misery is often our thoughts, which is certainly true. Does this mean we should stop thinking in order to be happy? Maybe. I try though because I am indeed very restless. I would like to stop mind chatter sometimes but I don’t succeed most of the time and that’s okay.

I take many of my principles from Greek Philosophy and one of my guiding principles is by Socrates, " purpose of life is to be happy. " For me happiness is a duty owed and I try everyday to be happy. I tried to wire my children’s brains for happiness also. I feel many desi parents wire our brains to be eternally unhappy.
