I do agree with you and am not accepting anyone's moral superiority. All I am saying that we can't argue with realities. The reality is that here I have a great life and if these radicals keep on doing their chit and we don't actively condemn and distance ourselves we will pay a price.

No, it's the opposite actually. They say the source of our misery is often our thoughts, which is certainly true. Does this mean we should stop thinking in order to be happy? Maybe. I try though because I am indeed very restless. I would like to stop mind chatter sometimes but I don't succeed most of the time and that's okay.

If my experiences can change lives why should I not share that. Why would this be classified as self-righteous, people have to be willing to entertain new ideas. My new gujju assistant seems to be on board, the Canadian girl was resisting a bit but now came requesting my help. We had a great time yesterday, we all shared our lives problems. They talked about issues with their parents and I about my children.

I take many of my principles from Greek Philosophy and one of my guiding principles is by Socrates, " purpose of life is to be happy. " For me happiness is a duty owed and I try everyday to be happy. I tried to wire my children's brains for happiness also. I feel many desi parents wire our brains to be eternally unhappy.

Furthermore source of all happiness is thoughts also, my best friend was a renowned psychiatrist and he would train people to have happy thoughts. Every moment you can find a reason to be happy and a reason to be sad.

@Jolie, well we have Green party, and then running as an independent candidate is always an option. The thing with USA socio political issues is that the issues are so black and white, that you are either on one side or the other. There is no third option, hence there is hardly a need for a third political party.
I don't see it that way. The two party duopoly makes it difficult for others to get in. That's why Sanders is running as a Democrat.
There are really no two sides in the two party system as is. Both parties like the following:
Wars
Big money
Low minimum wage
Hugh incarceration rates for blacks
Three strikes and you are out, where stealing a loaf of bread counts as a strike
Bailing out big banks
Weak on environment - consider support for fracking from Hillary the odds on favorite to be Democratic party
Media - which does not support liberal causes
Both parties are tow the right. There are no two sides. Only Right side. And extreme Right side.
Liberals such as Sanders are laughed off by the Moderates in the Democratic party.

What right has any country got to with deciding when Saddam should leave? What connection does Iraq have with 9/11? You mention Saudis and 9/11 so why are they such good allies with US?
I don't know about you understanding frustrations but atleast apply basic logic and show some understanding of the realpolitik involved in foreign relations.

Its the beauty of democracy that one side we may get stupid actors like Trump while on the other side anyone can raise their voice against them like Brandon from HONY and the protests outside their rallies etc.
So just one example of Trump cannot belittle entire system. Ask those who wrote blogs and disappeared in KSA or in China or in North Korea, if you like that system then be it otherwise Democracy is still the best.
And no whats in Pakistan right now is no way a true democracy. It'll take time if we dont get coups every single decade

Our parties are now run like a family business, so its hard for them be democratic while themselves running their political parties like their own ghar ki team.
