again... you failed to answer me that if Tariiya means vessels without blood.... go check your dictionaries and only word you will find will be "FRESH"

Bhai fish ko is liye fresh kaha hai k Is ke Vessels main blood nahi hoota na hi is ko Zibah karnay k zarooraat hooty hai. aur is k Gills naturally open hooty hai

now go and ask with zoologist biologist and ask them and get the list from them of sea Animals and do research on it u will easily know wht Lahman Tariya Means ke sirf fish ek aabi jaanwar jis k vessels main blood nahi hoota

Seafood is based on personal preference, like I would never eat octopus/squid, etc., no matter how halal it was... while crab and lobster seem tasty.

Are you kids really arguing over what a crab is? These debates are pathetic generalizations. You have a thousand sects of islam, with each eager to kill the others.
You might as well do whatever you want. I'm sure there's some sect out there that agrees with you. I'm eating halal pork at hooters tomorrow, who wants to join me? Bring your highlighted Qurans.

Simple if it was haram it would not be available to general public in Pakistan, saudi and rest of the Islamic world just like pork.

So that means crabs are haram for both sunnis and shias but for different raesons…!
That’s weird, coz I’ve had crab soap in pakistan. Don’t know what to believe any more!!:grumpy:

A majority of muslim does not make a country islamic. Its the implementation of islamic sharia and the laws accordingly. A couple decades back, alcohol was also available in shops. A haram thing being sold in pakstan, or declared halal by some “guppy-cum-mullah” is still haram if the islamic sharia forbids it. (read that article again, whoever wrote it, has done a very good job explaining.)
Moreover, there’s a lot of non islamic things being done in pakistan. Should we also consider them part of islamic sharia cause the “pakistanis” are doing them?
