Re: is crab meat halal?
A majority of muslim does not make a country islamic. Its the implementation of islamic sharia and the laws accordingly. A couple decades back, alcohol was also available in shops. A haram thing being sold in pakstan, or declared halal by some “guppy-cum-mullah” is still haram if the islamic sharia forbids it. (read that article again, whoever wrote it, has done a very good job explaining.)
Moreover, there’s a lot of non islamic things being done in pakistan. Should we also consider them part of islamic sharia cause the “pakistanis” are doing them?
