i agree, but can the same be said about a man. if a man acts like a gentleman, holds himself up with valor, is respectful and sweet---->chivalrous, he’ll be treated in a similar way by a lady?
or even another guy. why does it have to be gender based.
in the olden times, did it have to mean the person expects something in return for being chivalrous?
