Whether they believe in your holy scriptures or not, you still have to use it because they are the basis of your religion. Remember that you will be explaining Islam and these scriptures are central to Islam.
You could possibly use some references from Greek mythology in your speech. Explain about how there were many "gods" and the power struggles, etc. Dont know what else to tell you.

... I don't think that one has to be so blunt.
Put things forward in a different way. The prophet (P.B.U.H) used to point out to nature, the creations of Allah (S.W.T) and then explain HIS greatness. As it says in the Quran that haven't you looked at yourself how you've been created, how the mountains have been created, how this earth has been laid, how the sky has been lifted.
This is just the meaning (mafhoum) of the Quranic Iyaats and not the exact words.
And one thing that I've learned from my peers - elderly literate people and not the Pakistani 'pirs', is that when you speak about the greatness of Allah (S.W.T) YOU should speak from the heart, from within yourself, and not just make it merely a speach. If your intention is just to impress other people with your speach (which is not I'm sure) or something similar then that 'kaifeeyat' will be transformed to the listeners heart. So ... before you go to make a speach, make sure you pray two rakats namaz-e-Hajat and ask Allah (S.W.T) for assistance so that you may be able to speak the truth and only the truth. And also do not forget to pray for the hidayat of the ones who will be listening (and your ofcourse) cause that should be your main concern.
Read the translation of the Holy Quran, the Hadith and make sure you say that you are trying to explain the meaning cause you must be knowing that to narate Hadith and not with the proper wording is dangerous.
[Edit] P.S: If we make it a habit of reading the Holy Quran along with its translation and having a session of 'Taleem' of Hadith and Quran at home, it wouldn't be a problem for us to speak about the greatness of Allah (S.W.T) when asked to do so.

non-muslims want to see some visual things when they go to their
places of worship . it just symbolism. if you want to be dogmatic
idelogical and technical about religen it is your way.evebody have the right to have thier own way to visualise god. there is no compulsion
in religen.

No..allah is the same as ishwar, ram, jesus, Yahweh, Buddha (enlightened) and countless other gods.

Alrite, even though all of them would mean the same; don't you think that it is preferable to call Allah (S.W.T) by his name. He's got 99 names, all describing his qualities, so any one of them would do.
About the speach then you can add somethin like ... yeh, that whenever Allah(S.W.T) sent his messengers, he would send them with a mission. Their mission was to make them believe in one GOD and for that he gave them special qualities. For eg: Prophet Essa (A.S) could bring up the dead, Prophet Mosa had his stick, and his hand which would glow. All these were the qualities of Allah(S.W.T) that he could bring up the dead, change the non-living to a living being and lots more. And also don't forget to mention the main point - Why was man created in the first place? So that they (Humans and Jinnat) could workship Allah (S.W.T). Now one question could be - Weren't the angles created for that purpose? Yes they were created for that purpose but .... Allah (S.W.T) has blessed man with the ability to think and that's why he wants MAN to worship him.
DETAIL: He wants someone who has the ability to think, judge, assess, differentiate, identify .... ta dada dada. So, who has all these abilities - Man of course ( DUH! ALLAH has blessed MAN with such abilities). Some have them, some don't. This is another point i.e. HE has shown us that he blessed some of his Makhlouq and some are deprived.
Therefore, man was created and chosen to workship Allah(S.W.T).
If I can think of anything else ... I'll post it here Inshallah Ta-ala.
For the time being, I hope all this helps ...
MAy Allah (S.W.T) grant you success, gives me and you and all those who listen to your speach 'HIDAYAH'. Ameen
Allah-hafiz
even if one accepts the argument only one religen is correct otheres are wrong what is the solution? do you take the burden of invading the
countries and putting them to right path?
AD: Someone may ask you or will say ‘oh what is the harm in having more than one god, hence god’s..’
The answer i would give is:
The belief in Tawhid (neness of God) is most logical idea that every rational individual could think of. Simply because, should there be two, three or more “gods” then, the entire universe would have been in chaos as a result of the competition of and struggle for power among “gods.”
someone will probably then ask you : ‘well the gods can share this power’…
hence answer can be this: we dont want a deficient God, we want the Ultimate being, the one and only God, who lacks no power of any sort… whereby Allah azawjal says:
”If there were, in the heavens and the earth, other gods besides Allah, there would have been ruin in both! But glory to Allah, the Rabb of the Throne: (High is He) above what they attribute to Him.” (21: 22)
It’s good that you can ask such questions, this way you can answer someone who ask’s this in near future…
some need visual aids some may not need. even kabba contains
stone . it is just symbolic. some how i dont undersatnd the concept idol worshippers should be killed .
You can’t count God. If God was one then what stops it to have 2, 3 or 4 like Him? Allah is alone and we say Allah is one because there is none like HIM before or after. And what is before before and after after? Nothing.
