if there were two Gods and both were all mighty, then one of them would just make the other one disappear (since he's almighty remember;)) or vica versa...

God is a reality of spirit...He cannot...be conceived as an object, not even as the very highest object. God is not to be found in the world of objects. -- Nicholas Berdyaev
Basically the message of all divine faiths, Judaism, Christianity and Islam is that there is only one God. Though Christians have the concept of Trinity, but that is different from the concept of many gods (for various tasks) or the ideas of atheists who do not believe in any god.
So keep your audience in mind, when you are giving such a talk. If you have primarily christians and jews in your class, then you can start by comparing the monotheist message of the three biggest divine faiths in the world, who all talk about one-ness of God. If you have some buddhists in your class, you should first find out the essentials of buddhist faith (I have very little idea on that, so can’t do your homework for you there), and if you have some hindus in your class, then you can research on some of the fundamental beliefs of hindus about Bhagwaan, and identify similarities between their concept of Bhagwaan and how it is just another name for God, who is the ultimate Creator of this Universe.
Your main challenge will be if you have atheists in your class who believe the world came about due to a big-bang and there is a scientific explanation for all miracles and everything happening. They don’t believe in any god. For them, you have to rely on some of the logical explanations that God exists (which is different from one-ness of God, btw). To be honest, if those atheists have studied about their beliefs or have converted to atheism, then, more often than not, they will already be hardened in their thinking on this issue, and it will be pretty much a waste of time to concentrate on them as a target audience. That is because, to some extent, existence of God is a matter of faith. Logic can not take you all the way, because human mind can create as many refutations as it can create evidences.
does islam mentions satan and angels? what kind of entities are they
and where they dwell? are they humans ? do they have more pwer
than humans if they are not humans?
There are many excllent books out there and I am sure your local mosque has a few definitive ones as well. That's what I used when I gave my presentation. Not only do you get Barakah and Thawab, the knowledge you gain is priceless. Speeches and presentations, I believe, are an excellent way of learning, because during the presentation you learn so much from the material that you prepared with...And it sure does the heart good...:)...And as for quoting the Quran do it with a beaming face and smilingly for you are proclaiming the truth, and as for mistakes, Allah (SWT) is the Forgiver, so don't worry be happy...As for 'when in Rome do as the Romans do', don't...You have your own purest form of legacy...And about that interfaith thingies? Let's not even go there...Good luck and may Allah (SWT) make it a great speech...
Hmm give it a read.. provides some arguments philosophers have used to prove the exitance of God, but please make sure that you emphasize thats its more of a thing based on faith rather than facts..

Exactly...... Numbers are merely a human form of keeping track of an amount of things. Although all things created conform to the preciseness of numbers, and fall within the exact laws of physics, to limit the Almighty within a certain number is unthinkable. However God has made it known for human understanding that He is One. But the discription of the Almighty "One" is too immense for mere humans to fathom.
Lady, ya missin somethin ... that's the point.
HE IS ONE, HAS NO CHILDREN OF HIS OWN !
... no children ... no wife ... no one to share his throne.

so do you mean we have to investigate how many gods how he lives
hve partners? is it our job to investigate ?
I will teach you something else. Something new maybe.
To me, the only important thing is God. However you hear him. He hears you. I know it. I believe that.
So..whatever you speak of, you must remember that it was God's idea to have us look at him and absorb him in different ways. GOD is infalible. He doesn''t make mistakes.
Man makes mistakes. God doesn't.
So...the essence of God is Love. Its holding hands. Its respecting each other.
It is not..prooving someone wrong.
Its knowing that God is inside of each and everyone of us, reguardless of how we express that fact.
