All I have to add to this is :
a) You, or some other ABCD's, may not be impressed with the girls back home...however a lot of people still are. Parents who are even based here, travel back home to look for a girl for their sons and this trend is increasing day by day. The more non-ABCD's you interact with, the more you'll find people are actually NOT impressed with ABCD's and prefer looking for girls from home.
*Incorrect. It used to happen a lot, now its decreasing considerably. There are tooooo many horror stories. You should look at some real life examples before thinking that. No one is impressed anymore. Like I said, there is nothing they possess that one cannot find on GEO or ARY. There isnt a single thing I would ever trade with an import. *
b) A lot of DESI gora types around here have worse attitudes than girls from back home. Comes from upbringing, and also too much freedom. Example...one of my neighbors in Burlington, is a Pakistani girl from Punjab...she was born here and her parents are total nimazi times - the girl left home in Toronto and moved to Burlington for a 'job'. The job ended up being an excuse as she bought a townhouse with her GORA boyfriend and began living with him! Shabash ABCD values ! Today, the father is a wreck...the mother had a nervous breakdown and the girl is busy chilling and getting it on with her gora dude not giving a crap about her poor parents.
*Im sure you're right about this friend of yours - after all you are the company you keep - but there are more problems with Pakistani culture then ABCD culture. Pakistani culture is pop culture now, nothing more. *
*One bhabi of ours broke up her husband's family as soon as she came here. MIL was sent to live with her ABCD daughter and her ABCD husband. *
*Another girl married a guy from here and left him as soon as she got her green card. The guy is still paying off debt he accumulated supporting her dependant lazy as. **
*Another import ended up getting pregnant 2 times with 2 different men and aborting each time...within a year of arriving here. *
*Another one wanted me to take her to a casino a month after she got here. Oh and she is also dieting and praying her husband lets her wear a mini skirt someday! How cute! "Mere husband ke kaha hai ke mein agar vazan kam karloon to isse bhi chote kapre pehen sakti hoon!" YAY! *
*Another one surprised her MIL with papers to sign stating she will not live with them after marriage...minutes before the nikah in front of 400 guests. Oh and she also insisted on wearing a white wedding dress...erm...okay! *
One of them demanded her husband take her to meet a man she had fallen in LOWE with online. OH and guess who she fell in LOWE with? She left her CPA husband and two kids for a cashier at McDonald's. Movin' up in the world!
I mean seriously, ho kya jata hai logon ko???

C) ^^^^ That isent the only example of ABCD's and their activities. Girls from back home are not all angels either, I would agree with that BUT the amount of corruption in ABCD's is way more than the girl you'll find back home.
