reminds me of a hadith about time… it’s not a religious thread, just sharing it here for the sake of topic on hand, so mods, please do not delete or move …

Narrated by Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman:

People used to ask the Messenger of Allah :saw: about the good times, but I used to ask him about the **bad times **fearing lest they should overtake me.

I said:

Messenger of Allah, we were in the midst of ignorance and evil, and then God brought us this good (time through Islam). Is there any bad time after this good one?

He said: Yes.

I asked:

Will there be a good time again after that bad time?

He said:

**Yes, but in it will be a hidden evil. **

I asked:

**What will be the evil hidden therein? **

He said:

(That time will witness the rise of) the people who will adopt ways other than mine and seek guidance other than mine. You will know good points as well as bad points.

I asked:

**Will there be a bad time after this good one? **

He said:

Yes. (A time will come) when there will be people standing and inviting at the gates of Hell. Whoever responds to their call will be thrown into the fire.

I said:

Messenger of Allah, describe them to us.

He said:

All right. They will be a people having the same complexion as ours and speaking our language.

I said:

**Messenger of Allah, what do you suggest if I happen to live at that time? **

He said:

**You should stay with the main body of the Muslims and their leader. **

I said:

If they have no (such thing as the) main body and have no leader?

He said:

Separate yourself from all these factions, though you may have to eat the roots of trees (in a jungle) until death comes to you when you are in this state.

**Anwaar I admire ur religious knowledge, & how u remeber the verses & ahadith. But why its always u who forgets the few basic thick lines from rule books ?

I understand u dun want hadith in cafe.. it’s forbidden

fine may be for u rules are superior than ALLAH and Rasool

A man came to the Prophet:saw: and asked,

“O Allah’s Apostle! What kind of fighting is in Allah’s cause? (I ask this), for some of us fight because of being enraged and angry and some for the sake of his pride and haughtiness.”

The Prophet:saw: raised his head (as the questioner was standing) and said,

“He who fights so that Allah’s Word (Islam) should be superior, then he fights in Allah’s cause.”

i dont understand why Quranic verses need to be limited to the religion forum. cant there be issues not related to religion that might need reference from the quran?
i dont understand these rules!

Ahadith & Verses r allowed in cafe when needed. When the topic is diverted to religious discussion only then its moved here. Rest of the thread is still in cafe in case u havent noticed.

in case u have not noticed, this was simply very related to the topic at hand unless there was some disability to comprehand :~)

plus always try to read the threads.. why do u think i did not notice when i posted the link of that thread here??? lolz… *sigh

the thread was about good times passing by … and about people being in bad time and not enjoying what ALLAH has given…

so I suggest u read the hadith atleast one time in context.. and if need help i will provide more help in understanding.. but later.. right now gotta go:)

what a blank again?? how many times will u start discussions and then run away crying foul? answer the simple question.. if u’re so bleeping pious then why aren’t you away somewhere following what the hadith recommend you do rather than waste time in idle talk and chit chat (there must be some hadith somewhere about wasting your time too) with na-mehrums 24/7 on a discussion board?

the question is not that I believe in them.. but you plastering them left right and center without regard for which forum they belong as if you have some mandate from God and are above us all..

If YOU believe in what you write.. back it up with action. don't be a total HYPOCRITE for once..
