Iraq Conection to McVeigh???

I’m glad to see that we have no shortage of conspiracy buffs in the US. For all those who believe that Mossad was involved in taking down the WTC, this connection between McVeigh and Iraq should be pretty easy to swallow.

It amazes me how little media attention this investigation has drawn. It appears as if the House Government Reform Committee may start serious hearings on this possibility.

There was a documentary/expose on NBC that attempted to show that the Clinton administration deliberatelty staunched a wider investigation of the Murrah Building bombing. There were, according to the TV broadcast, a few purposefully unidentified, Muslim men assisting McVeigh. Is this clutching at straws or a possible alley of valid concern?

I guess a fundementalist christain was actually a fundo muslim, who converted 2 days before bombing the building. Next thing you will here is that Castro is a muslim.

It referred to accomplices to McVeigh, ok?

Tom, if it turned out that his accomplices were muslim, how many would believe he was a fundo christain?

You guys could be the new kings of disinformation, ya' know? McVeigh wasn't a Christian Fundo, he was anti-government. He was a Gulf War vet who made sympathic remarks towards the Iraqis, BTW!

kings of disinformation, kewl maybe I will be replacing geraldo or oreilly on fox news then :)

I dont think mcveigh was a fundamentalist christian, justliek I dont believe that the WTC bombers were fundamentalist muslims. the idiots were drinking at a strip joint just days before..some fundamentalist muslims.

fanatics yes, terrorists sure, muslim fundamentalists..okay so they were muslims and the twisted word fundamentalist just should be fanatics.

The kings of disinformation are those that give credence to a supposed Muslim link to Timothy McVeigh. In fact its the height of desperation. Is it so hard for you to believe that a white crazy like McVeigh could carry out a mass terrorist attack, without any Muslim link? Jeez.

try the orange kitkat....

Whatever Timoth McVeigh was (mass-murderer, terrorist, evil), fundamentalist Christian he was not. There isn't any evidence that at the time of the bombing he even considered himself a Christian.

His last public act before being executed was to distribute copies of the 1875 poem "Invictus." It begins: "I thank whatever gods may be/ for my unconquerable soul," and ends "I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul" -- hardly the words of a devout Christian. At his sentencing, he quoted from a 1928 court decision: "Our government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example."

Evidently there is a desperate need among some to equate American terrorists with radical Islamic terrorists who commit mass murder in the name of Allah. He didn't say that Jesus made him do it, and he wasn't going for the Christian afterlife equivalent of 72 virgins.
