Turkey and Saudi Arabia have stopped Iran using their air space to send humanitarian relief to Lebanon, media in Iran have said.
Iran’s health ministry has been collecting supplies to send to the Lebanese people, the reports said.
But the goods had to be sent via Dubai to Syria because of objections by other countries in the region.
This may fuel Iranian anger against nations they feel have not done enough to support Hezbollah against Israel. Iran’s Labour news agency quotes the head of the country’s emergency services as complaining that Turkish officials prevented Iran from using their air space for humanitarian aid destined for Lebanon.
The same official said three Iranian ambulances had already been despatched to Lebanon and soon another 20 would follow. Another news agency quotes the security chief of Iran’s health ministry as saying both Turkey and Saudi Arabia had prevented Iran from using their air space for three plane-loads of medicine.
Iran has already complained bitterly about Arab countries like Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the Gulf states which it says have caused divisions in the Muslim world and failed to do enough to support Hezbollah.
Shias generally and Iranis especially are expert in staging such dramas. First see what these stupid Iranians are doing propaganda against their 'Arab Enemies and then read the following:
Saudi Arabia sends 50 million dollars to Lebanon
Sun Jul 16, 2:47 PM ET
JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia (AFP) - Saudi Arabia has reportedly pledged 50 million dollars in immediate aid to Lebanon, after Lebanon’s government appealed for international help.
“In response to the appeal of Lebanon’s Prime Minister Fuad Siniora, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz has ordered an immediate transfer of 50 million dollars to be at the PM’s disposal,” the official SPA news agency reported.
SPA said the aid package is aimed at helping the Lebanese government provide relief and needed services “to reduce the suffering of our brotherly Lebanese people.”
Late Saturday, Siniora declared Lebanon a “devastated zone” and asked for international help, after Israeli raids killed more than 100 people and ravaged the country’s newly-built infrastructure.
Oil-rich Kuwait later announced it was sending urgent relief aid worth 20 million dollars to Lebanon, an official statement said.
“The cabinet decided to allocate 20 million dollars to send urgent relief aid to brothers in Lebanon to help them confront the impact of this barbaric (Israeli) aggression,” the statement said following the weekly cabinet meeting.

I've heard of these Saudi pledges to Philistini and others before but none have materialised till now.
Precisely. Iran’s Foreign Minister visited Turkey on Friday to discuss the situation in Lebanon.
“Mottaki said Iran and Turkey are in top-level talks on regional issues and Tehran has given the priority to consultations with the Turkish side.”
“Upon arrival in Istanbul airport, Mottaki was welcomed by a group of Turkish foreign ministry officials, local authorities and Iran’s Ambassador to Turkey Firouz Dowlatabadi.”
This is from IRNA.IR … no mention of Turkey blocking airspace. And why would they use Turkish airpsace to get to Lebanon in the first place?
This is all bullsh!t propoganda aimed at creating a rift between people, and people like “Debater” immediately fall into the trap and start bashing others at any opportunity they get.
Perhaps if such people were to validate all sources before making drastic conclusions, they wouldn’t be so misguided.
Not to say that I disagree with that statement, but such can also be said of many other Muslim countries like Morrocco, Kuwait, Egypt, Jordan, and Pakistan.
The list is probably endless.
I agree that Saudi Arabia is partially to blame for the outcry of muslim "extremists", but Pakistan is equally responsible for harboring and allowing such breeds of "muslims" (and I use that term quite loosely) to co-exist.
I am also not a huge fan of Iran, but I can safely say that it is one of the few countries that (albeit some alarming statements and actions) has the balls to not be puppeteered by capitalist fundamentals.
Another country that comes to mind (although not muslim) is Venezuela. Viva Chavez.
Iran has its own agendas in the region. Why would Iran (shia majority) want to unite with other Muslim countries (sunni majority), when in Iran itself Sunnis are not allowed to have a seperate Masjid whereas Christians, Hindus are allowed their places of worship? It is quite obvious that they don't want unity between Shias & Sunnis.
