Iran takes guards

Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

Iran has drawn international attention to the targeted assassinations and abductions of its personnel abroad — its appeal following the killing of one of its border guards who had been kidnapped as part of a five-member group by a Pakistan-based militant group.
In a letter to Ban Ki-moon, the U.N. Secretary General, Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, internationalised the abductions and the death of its border guard.
He pointed to “the shocking news about the possible murder of one of the five Iranian border guards abducted on February 7, 2014 by an extremist terrorist group, in the border area between Iran and Pakistan.”
The death of the Iranian soldier, confirmed on Monday by Ali Asghar Mirshekar — the governor general of Iran Sistan-Balochistan province — seems to have added another irritant to the complex relationship between Tehran and Islamabad.
On Sunday, the Pakistan-based militant group, Jaish-ul-Adl had tweeted that Jamshid Danaeifar, one of the abductees, had been killed.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry asserted on Tuesday that Pakistan should be held accountable for the death of the Iranian border guard. Ministry spokesperson Marziyeh Afkham exhorted Islamabad to take “serious and prompt” action against the kidnappers, and guarantee the release of the Iranian soldiers.
She warned that lack of seriousness in Pakistan’s response could damage friendly and brotherly ties.
“Iranian officials have repeatedly expressed their dissatisfaction with and concern about acts of terror in border areas and the Islamic Republic of Iran has stressed the need for the necessary measure by Pakistan to prevent terrorists from crossing and using the Pakistani territory.”
In his letter, Mr. Zarif drew the Secretary General’s attention to the two car-bombings of the Iranian diplomatic and cultural premises in Beirut on November 19 last, which was followed three months later by another blast that killed one diplomat and a dozen security guards, along with several Lebanese civilian bystanders.
Without naming any particular country, Mr. Zarif stressed that all evidence indicated that “state-sponsored” extremist groups have been responsible for the terror attacks on Iran and its citizens.

They are justified in going anywhere they want to for the security of their people. What is Pakistani government doing to stop terrorism in the region? Name any regional terrorist group and sadly they have headquarters in Pakistan. Pakistan should be wary of the day when China responds as even Uighur militants are getting trained in FATA.

Re: Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

Since Mullas have taken over Iran, this is what they have done, fighting with Iraq, fighting with Syria, supporting militant outfits in Pakistan, supporting Shia extremists in Afghanistan and Uzbekistan and to some extent using govt influence on weaker central asian states to protect their supported militant wings...

Iran is friend of US since the revolution, only it is that the friendship has been of strategic nature and under the table, for example, disturbing Middle East, Disturbing Pakistan, and yet calling US "Shaitan Buzurg" while supporting US in all the wars in middle east..

Now the masters of Iranian Mullas have given them new duties, so they are working on it... ever since the crown prince of Saudi have visited Pakistan, Iranians are having dysentery problems...

By the way, would anyone like to shed some light how Iranians are treating Balochi minority in Iran or how Sunni in Iran are suffering??? before barking at Pakistan.... Pakistan should respond in tit for tat to Iran and let them know that they are nothing but bunch of goat lovers at best..

Re: Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

Re: Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

Each and every word is true and no one even our Media don't speak about the activities of these dogs especially in Baluchistan.

Re: Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

Pakistani army is fighting against the same groups they have been rearing for over 30 years. LEJ, TTP, Alqaeda, Jundullah, Ahrar ul Hind, Haqqani Network, Quetta Shura, JuD, Jaish e Muhammad, IMU and so on. I hope these groups ring a bell? You cannot simply raise militias in your country and then hope for peace at the same time. I hope at some stage Government of Pakistan also develops some guts to go to international bodies like UN against crimes being conducted in the country by other regional/international players.

Using foul language in posts do not make them a reality.

Re: Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

Re: Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

It would help if you could pass on this sentiment to Government of Pakistan too to develop some guts. Saudi-Iran proxy war has destroyed Muslim world as a whole, but the damage done by some of those of ‘ours’ eclipses the atrocities of other groups. Maybe you can present a comparison of people killed by terrorists from both sides in Pakistan especially during the last 10 years. As far as you are concerned you can use the vocabulary you like shows your upbringing.

Re: Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

Re: Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

you mean to say there are people who will believe in all these farfetched wishful thinking burying their head in the sand? what about reality pal? US and iran partners.. lmao!

Re: Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

It is obvious that there is a section of Pakistanis who want to start a war with Iran for the sake of the Occupiers of Hejaz. This is the dream which some people have before going to sleep.

Instead of accepting responsibility of not letting our country used against any country, these people would instead abuse a country whose people were kidnapped by the pigs.

Such people remain silent when our country is used for conducting terrorism activities against other countries, and when those countries object to these activities, they abuse those countries instead of stopping terrorism sprouting from Pakistan.

Worst part is that the present government itself consists of these supporters of terrorism. No wonder that it is in the present government that this act of terrorism against a brotherly Muslim country has happened.

I wish that American drones continue to take them out. Insha Allah.

Re: Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

To be fair they don't believe in these ridiculous stories themselves. They just make it up to be used as a reason to abuse Iran.
Otherwise they know how stupid these stories are.

But unfortunate part is that people like 'muhallah ka naaii' and other nincompoops do believe these brain-farts.

Re: Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

dont worry we are talking with them, soon everything will be fine.

Re: Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

Pakistanis themselves are the biggest victim of the terror which our own governments created. But the world would not care if Pakistanis continue to kill each other for whatever reason.

However, when terrorism from Pakistan affects any other country then it becomes an international issue. In that case it hurts Pakistan even more. Most of us Pakistanis have their eyes closed to see that this was PRECISELY the reason America entered Afghanistan. Now they abuse America for occupying Afghanistan but still continue to stay ignorant of the reason America had to do it.

And now, they are doing EXACTLY THE SAME THING in the case of Iran. They are abusing Iranians instead of fixing the people responsible for doing it.

Re: Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

OP's tone is very much LEJ type, this depicts exactly where we are heading.

Re: Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

Iran should rein in the terrorist it sponsors in Pakistan before giving us a lecture. The weakness of our govt has allowed Iranians and Saudis to fight their dirty war in Pakistan.

Re: Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

Yeah, why is Iran showing concern for its soldiers and not showing support for the killers of its soldiers like some in Pakistan do?

Re: Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

Iran is no angel they along with Saudis have been sponsoring their sects to carry on their dirty agendas here.

Re: Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

Iran was better of in Shah's regime.

Re: Iran takes guards’ issue to U.N.

But that still does not justify kidnapping of their guards, bringing them to Pakistan, killing them ... and then Pakistan government refusing to even acknowledging that problem exists, and Pakistanis abusing Iran for kidnapping of its own guards instead of saying anything against criminals who did that.

No one in angel in the world. Everyone looks after their own benefit. Pakistan should also do the same. It is not in Pakistan's interest to appease terrorism and allowing them to use its territory to plan and execute against other countries.
