They shud join not as a country but rather as trade partners along with Turkey. If Iran's relation normalise with US and EU, then Pakistan, Iran and Turkey can be great tradng partners. Iran has energy resources, Turkey is a door to EU and Pakistan has agricultural products, manpower and cheaper labour.

some times back, somebody is trying to project the union of India and Pakistan. another one firing on Libya's shoulder when they say that Bangladesh should merge with India now this is new thing. Iran and Pakistan... god help these people. day dreaming supposed to confined to individual and not to be brought to international discussion board.
what we really need to do is live peacefully as a independent countries rather than fighting with each other. that US is benefiting because of our internal conflicts.

The most sensible thing said on this thread. These days, the world is moving towards a globalized economy, instead of fighting our neighbors, we should be looking towards doing business with them.
Both Pakistan and Iran have the potential to be economic powerhouses, its such a shame to see it wasted on armed conflicts.

Who's willing to bet that once Iranians overthrow the ayatollahs that Iranians would be more liberal and secular than anyone else in the region?
At least Iranians have more sense to understand how bad a so-called Islamic government would be, unlike many Pakistanis.

If there are any decendents of Alexander of Macedonia, they can claim all this teritory since He was the only one to unite this area Starting all the way from Turkey, Persia, Afghanistan and Kafiristan and maybe the West bank of Indus....................
