TEHRAN: President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Saturday offered to share Iranian-made nuclear technology with Arab states in the Gulf after they expressed a desire to acquire it, Iranian media reported.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to provide its experience and valuable achievements in peaceful nuclear technology as a clean source of energy and as oil replacement to all regional countries,” Ahmadinejad told a visiting Kuwaiti envoy, Mohammed Zeyfullah Shirar.
Ahmadinejad’s offer comes a week after Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) leaders ended a two-day summit in Riyadh by announcing they planned to seek nuclear energy technology.
They said in a statement that “the states of the (Gulf) region have a right to possess nuclear energy technology for peaceful purposes within the context of the pertinent international agreements.”
The GCC leaders also called for a peaceful settlement of the crisis over Iran’s nuclear program, which the West suspects could be cover for nuclear weapons development. Iran insists it only wants to produce electricity for its growing population.
Why would Arab states get 3rd rate technology from Iran and increase Iranian and Shia influence in their countries when they have other alternatives like USA, Russia, England and France, Canada, India, China and Pakistan?
I think it is a very very intelligent move by the Iranian president and it may help in the long run to minimize the rift between the two major sects and bring them closer and may be just not to let it happen american indirectly start providing some help to Arab states or try to attack Iran ... surely American will not like the two sect to come closer and be happier...
i hope the Arab state's head also show some magnamity by starting a project with iran.
They are authortanian regimes, not democracies and could use Nuclear Weapons to threaten other countries to keep their dominance up.

A democracy is the only one that has used a nuke, and in the name of preserving democracy was a terrifying cold war in effect for over 70 years, and often it was in fact the West agitating and pushing towards the brink...not the USSR.

The only people who should be happy Arabs getting their hands on nukes are those who hate this world and who anxiously await their their ascent to the land of large-eyed hoors and boys of everlasting youth.
If the West (precisely U.S) does not make a suitable (nuclear) offer to the Arabs, and Arabs reject the Iranian offer, then we know Arabs are true puppets.
You shouldn't be so flippant with the use of the word 'racist'. It diminishes its meaning.
If Arab countries get nukes, it is my opninion there will be some type of nuclear conflict in the not too distant future. Many people will die, those that believe in the afterlife as I described will compromise many of the dead. What's racist about that?

I have read enough of Muslim beliefs and debated enough in religion forum regarding this subject to know it is a widely held belief. I never thought it was an Arab belief since most of those who downplay life on earth and look for heavenly rewards on here didn't appear be Arab.
But yes, I do believe those who hold some disdain for this life and think it's all about swimming in rivers of milk and honey somewhere else would be more prone to use a nuke. But it is the instability, uneducation and extremism in Arab states that make me think a nuke in their hands is nuclear winter waiting to happen.

Nuclear weapons are always controlled by a finite group of people. Instability is not something most Arab countries suffer from...at least no Arab country was as ever unstable as the former USSR was. Pakistan is perahps more unstable than any Arab country.

I think Semi thinks, enriched uranium will be available in the vegetable and date markets of the Arabs. You'll be able to get a home cooked nuclear meal.
