Iran leader: Holocaust a 'myth'

Re: Iran leader: Holocaust a ‘myth’

I am sure you do, but the point I am trying to make is that if we commemorate one atrocity or warcrime as a holocaust lets not forget the other ones.
If jews were the victims of facsism in WWII so were millions of germans who were ethinically cleasned from eastern europe(esp.Czech and poland ) in 1945.
German PoWs were kept till 1955 in camps in total violation of all international law

This dosent mean that holocaust was justified but also remember these victims they were just as innocent as many jews.

Re: Iran leader: Holocaust a ‘myth’

antiobl is comparing the the Jews to Imam Khomeini and the Taliban in the same breath. :rotfl: but cannot answer why they (the Jews) are the only people in the world who demand laws to protect their myths about the holocaust?

Re: Iran leader: Holocaust a ‘myth’

Do you have any evidence to back up your persecution claim? i dont see shia/sunnis killings going on in Iran.

How and when was fiqh e jaffri implemented? Its always been there since pak was ever made. As for the violence, im sure you know the idea was to rid pak of shias, hence the persecution against them. If it was a struggle, it was for survival of shias in a sunni dominant country. And not the other way around.

i dunno, but it sure wasnt Ayatullah khomeini.

No he wasn’t. It was only for Iran where the masses approved of it..

yeah…right. would that be because they were ‘american’ hostages?

i suggest you brush up on your ‘recent history’.

Re: Iran leader: Holocaust a ‘myth’

Agreed! In post-Khomaini period, life for Shia minority has been really difficult in Pakistan. My blood boils with anger and frustration when I think about 72 Shia Doctors murdered in Karachi a couple of years ago.

However Ma Mooli, and Reza! Persecution of Shias in Pakistan at the moment should make them more sensitive to the precarious situation with similar minorities in other parts of the world.

I expect that today’s Pakistani-Shias would stand up for Ahmadis in Pakistan, or Jewish people in Europe, America, the Middle East, or Sunnis in Iran.

Won’t you agree?

No they were just diplomats who happened to be Americans. It was wrong then and it is wrong now.

It is also wrong to physically abuse Bharati diplomats in Pakistan. If you don’t like a diplomat, hey just ask him to leave. Capturing, torturing, or holding them hostages is utterly wrong in the eyes of modern laws, as well as in the eyes of our Messenger ‘saw’.
