Re: Iran,Islam & Those Bashing Islam.
He’s an immature brat, tell him to grow up. Fair enough he doesn’t fancy Islam for himself but he should have respect for your beliefs, tell him to learn a bit of respect and courtesy, forcing alcohol and pork in your face is just damn immature and ignorant (I've had a white boy do that to me saying "go on ave a bacon butty", soon put him in his place).
It’s true the vast majority of Iranians couldn’t give a rats rear about religion, before the Revolution there was no strict rules in Iran so they were openly very unislamic, the Shi’ite revolution didn’t do much because there was no spiritual power in that ideology, nothing special which they didn’t have already from Zoroastrianism, minus the strict rules and regulations.
Talking from personal experience Islamic rules and regulations feel like a burden when you’re not spiritually in tune with the religion but once you are it becomes worth it and the rules and regulations just make you feel content and secure that you’re doing something right. Without the strong spiritual connection, people who are slaves to lust and evil can be a bit over faced with Islamic rules and they just rebel.
One thing which really irritates me about Iranians is they’ll look as DESI as anything yet they keep going on about this fake ARYAN pride, which is really irritating because they’ve had far too many different races mixed into them by now, the Europeans actually snigger at them for it. Some Afghans tend to look more Caucasoid than Iranians, and I’m one of them whose family was originally Afghan but it’s not something I’m proud of, I find brown skin, dark eyes and black hair much more attractive.
Even the extremely devout Iranians are not very moral by our standards, women are hussies because of Mut’ah (temporary marriage which deafeats the purpose of a marriage, may as well allow dating as long as the boy gives her a present and she waits a waiting period before slutting around with another), also sometimes their religion resembles Paganism more than Islam, they hang up pictures of the Imams and pray to them, may as well have been Zartosht, it is sometimes, a lot wear the Zartosht with wings sign and celebrate Nowroz with more fervour than Eid, my family use to but we made it was seem as an Islamic thing but now it's fazed out because we know it's nothing to do with Islam.
