I mean y aren't they trying to establish a palestinian state? I mean that will wipe out most of the violence in the middle east cuz most of the violence is not religiously based however much western media wants it or portrays it to be.

The only way to solve the problem is for Israel to withdraw from the West Bank. Dismantle its settlements and withdraw.

Israel has to take a gamble here that if it withdraws from West Bank that Palestinaians wont use the land returned to them as plat forms to fire rockets and missiles into Israel as Tel Aviv will only be 12 km from West Bank.

If Palestinaisn continue to fire rockets then Israel has every right to occpy that area again, but a chance must be given to the Palestinians.

Olmert planned to withdraw from much of West Bank by 2010, but that has been delayed due to the war of 06.

I dont think Israel will withdraw from West Bank until 2020.
