Iran Claims Pakistan Helping Saudi Arabia Build Nukes

What to make of this?

Iran: Pakistan helping Saudis develop nukes

Official Iranian sources are claiming that they have information about Pakistan and Saudi Arabia signing an agreement in 2003 in which Pakistan promised to help Saudi Arabia develop nuclear weapons and the missiles to deliver them.

The reports are coming out as Iran reached an agreement with the three European powers - the United Kingdom, Germany and France - about a cessation of uranium enrichment and the International Atomic Energy Agency’s board of directors issues its report on Iran’s nuclear activity.

The Iranian reports emphasize that the nuclear cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is at an advanced stage and that for the first time the Saudis have access to nuclear technology.

The international news agency United Press International (UPI) reported that Iranian Prof. Abu Mohammed Asgarkhani claimed in a lecture that Iran’s efforts to acquire nuclear arms picked up after it learned about the Pakistani-Saudi deal and the possibility that Saudi Arabia would eventually acquire nuclear weapons.

Israeli and Western sources are not attributing much significance to the Saudi ability to develop, even partially, nuclear weapons.

Pakistan owes Saudi Arabia a great deal because Saudi Arabia essentially financed development of the Pakistani bomb. A Saudi representative may have been the only foreigner invited to visit Pakistan’s nuclear facilities. Pakistan was also the middleman between Saudi Arabia and China for the purchase of long-range Chinese missiles. Those missiles, based in Saudi Arabia, have meanwhile become obsolete, and the Saudis want to upgrade them. The Americans told the Chinese that would be a violation of an agreement in which the Chinese promised not to sell missiles. The Chinese say it would not be a missile sale, but an upgrade of an existing missile sold a long time ago, but Washington remains opposed to the deal.

The Iranian reports about nuclear dealings between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is apparently motivated by Iran’s interest in pointing out that other countries in the region are involved in military nuclear development and that they are not coming under international criticism because they are friends of the U.S.

The story is BS.
a: All Saudis have to do is ask U.S and U.S will personally come and install a nukerroo  for the Sheikhs. Suadis are in bed with U.S and Bush. edit being sarcastic.
b: A.Q Khan pharmacutecals is closed for renovations.

Sounds like load of horse $hit but I hope it is not… We need more stronger and nuclear powers to defeat terrorism…

But there is some nuclear deal with Saudis… Since Saudis don’t have the technical know how to maintain nukes they are relying on ready made systems and for that they have no doubt requested a nuclear umbrella from pak, money talks you know…

Saudi, I don’t know but Iran is a nuclear power no matter what spin the NOBs give to save their face.

I don't think Bush (or any other Western power) is going to cooperate with Sheiks of middle east to provide them nuclear weapons of any kind. Even Dubiya isn't so stupid. These Sheikhdoms are doomed to fall, one day or the other. And it serves no US interest to hand over lethal weapons of mass destruction to these brutal dictators. Not only is it not just a matter of money, but this will seriously jeopardize the security of Israel, that US and its allies do so much to protect. They Keep Their Priorities Straight.

Abdali Faisal see edit to my original post. Didnt think people would take that seriously.

Re: Iran Claims Pakistan Helping Saudi Arabia Build Nukes

and 2 days from now, iran will deny this report…same old same old…the whole purpose was to send a message acorss…

Israel is playing its cards right, one lousy Iranian professor, reminids me of Mofaz's buddy.

It's called return-on-investment :D

When you pay for something, you do expect to be able to benefit from it ... I would not be at all surprised if this is true.

yeah yeah, point the gold fish in a different direction and they will forget what Iran is up to :)

The sooner the better.

Just look at Iraqs downfall. If only they had Nukes, America would have diverted it's attention to Papa New Guinea.

This Nuki-God of Arabobs is just a little cracker. Americans took on the Soviet commies and defeated them. Even when the commies had thousands more nuki-Gods than any Arrabob can ever dream of.

Antiobl

When you think Taliban, think Nazis, when you think bin Laden, think Hitler, and when you think the people of Arab descent, think the Jews and the concentration camps.

At least this way you'll be able to justify your Arab Fatal Attraction?

I don't see you complaining about the gas these so called Arabobs supply that drives your MPV in downtown Mississippi, Pakistan?

Like I said, the sooner the Arabs get Nukes the better, the safer the world will be, and people like you will actually come out the closet!

Taliban are gone the Nazis way, and soon OBL (like Hitler) will burn himself on his way straight to hell.

Business transaction. We buy aloos from your store in UK, VCRs from China, cars from Japan and we don't complain either. We pay for the Arrabob gas just like our VCRs or the cars. Any problem with that?

I don't know about the world being safer. Arrabobs however will burn thanks to your fascination with Nuki-Gods. Your ilk sits in the safety of UK aloo stores while poor Arrabobs get creamed following your Bharkan (slogans).

bahhhhhh

Antiobl

I think the closet is heating up. It's only a matter of time my son, only a matter of time.

Secondly, we've an opening coming up in one of the aloo stores for a shelf stacker. I know it's not as prestigious as managing an oil rig for your role model Arabobs, but it will get you off State Benefits, and you can actually legally come into the country and not via a 40 foot container. Right about now, the US dollar is weak and so is the Rupee.

Either way, that long dreamt Kotheee might just be possible and no more mud hut. You can work for 5 years and then go back impressing all the locals stating that you've been to Walayat.

Hey, you might even get a marriage proposal, strictly on the basis of the workers visa.

What say you, huh?

Iran is full of ****.It was Iran which pointed the fingure at Dr A.Q Khan and now this country is again playing the games.I think Iran is not happy over pakistan's nuclear capability.

Re: Iran Claims Pakistan Helping Saudi Arabia Build Nukes

What to make of it? Well simply that the US has done a splendid job of leading by example. It’s the free-for-all-don’t-give-a-toss bug going around the globe. Even Portugal’s at it.

i dont think anyone is a friend of the US. give it a couple a years, k give it a decade, and i can bet atleast one them (saudi or pak) will be in the axis of evil. i’m guessing its the one lacking in black gold.

ps- i dont think the iranian lecture was meant for the UPI, it seems mossad has big ears, leaning towards iran. :halo:

Agreed, in the national interest game, there are contracts and alliances but no friendships.

Typical crap of comparing a basket case arrabob monarchy in the same sentence with Pakistan.

Hello! Saudi is a collection of pipsqueek desert nomads with no culture and no history. Take Hurmain Sharifain (2 buildings) and you wont't find anything compared to Shahi mosque (of Lahore), or Taj Mahal, or Shahi Forts. Nothing compared to Moinjodaro or Taxila. Financially they may seem to be giants but the figures tell the real story. Their budget hovers around $60 billion a year. Less than 5 time the current Pakistani budget. The current wealth had only made a difference since 1970's (just 30 years).

Pakistan on the other hand has the potential for becoming world power by 2050. They have strong military, a top notch educated elite, and an entrepreneurial class only matched by the best in the World.

It is time to quit comparing Pakistani cat with little rats of the future. These rats will be scurrying around for safety and begging all the cats to let them go.

Sure these Arrabob fanatics will jump on this with their usual knee jerk "gali galoch" methods. Sit back and relax. Travel through the whole Kingdom like I have done several times and then come back to me.

No need to bring mossad in the picture when we have namak-harams giving confessions on TV. We also have anarchist newsmen ready to put pictures of Saudi princes visiting our nuclear facilities. We need to clean our house before pointing fingers at Mossad.
