Re: Iqbal Day

So you have read only text books.

What I wrote are historical facts.
Case was heard in a court and he was acquitted due to a witness who stated that "he" was in hostel at the time of murder.
The Britisher who saved this man later admitted himself.

Re: Iqbal Day

again, no reference, no evidence, just hearsay, I must say, unless you provide a valid reference, it can not be counted as historical fact. It's called rumor mill, Sir :)

Re: Iqbal Day

That is not away but I don't want to go more in this discussion.
Aqlmand kay liay isharah hi kafi hota hay
Sorry if anyone hurt.

Re: Iqbal Day

Thanks for your input Sir, Pasha. It has been an honor to interact with you on the subject. I thoroughly enjoyed it. And I do/did understand your ishara. You can not back up your discussion. See you around. Ta.

Re: Iqbal Day

Re: Iqbal Day

Beta, these are not my words. I read it in Jang, and they are from an interview by a person who was an expert on Iqbal.
I can't help you guys if you can't comprehend when I said that I DON'T think Iqbal was extremist. But his words stoke fuel to extremist ideologies in Pakistan. This is why the Munafiq president Zia had such poems of Iqbal telecast all the time. And this is why it seems in Pakistan that this is ALL that Iqbal used to think, without realizing that he was far bigger a person than just these few poems.

Re: Iqbal Day

Iqbal was addressing to slave Muslims so that is quite different thing and that has no connection with present extremism .

Re: Iqbal Day

hunhh? If it becomes truth by saying like that then, I too declare that whatever I wrote was actually the real truth :snooty:

Re: Iqbal Day

Kindly share the name of that supposedely "expert on Iqbal" personality.
