hey dont be so down, it can be alot worse… 400 isn’t that much if u think abt it, i know ppl who’ve collected music for 10 years and have lost it all. now that must hurt.

they never xchange ipods, they only give a pathetic 10 % discount on the nxt purchase if u give in ur old one
you can get a refurbished one, which is basically new, for $90 including taxes and delivery. I went through iPod hell last year and I ended up just getting a refurbished one.
There is Floola and Yamipod that you can use instead of iTunes that actually transfer songs FROM your iPod onto your computer. iTunes doesn't do that for you.

TB, I did it via the Apple website. I got it within 10 days, with the same engraving that the original had on it. It's great!
