I love these IPL commercials…

as I was saying before I like how IPL does new fun stuff !!! these commercials.. orange purple caps… new camera angles… talking to the players and umpires on the field (although thats a t20 thing not just only ipl)..

VVS Laxman did all right for Kochi - 36 runs. Kochi lost close game to opponent. Wonder how long the league is.

Few more questions
How many teams? ~ 12?
What is the format for this tournament? For example, two groups of 6 each with 4 from each making it to knockout round?
Are there power plays? If yes, how many overs?
What exactly is the difference between batting and bowling power play. In a bowling power lay, is it the reverse of batting power play? That is, only 3 can stay inside the circle? (I think batting power play, only 3 can stay outside the circle)

Thanks Sharabee. Will dig up T20 rules. Just got familiar with one day intricacies before world cup. Mainly have been a test cricket fan.

just watched decca chargers vs kolata highlights...IPL is so much fun and the standard (of cheer leaders!) is really high...cricket is also of great quality...
