Well, Hair gave an interview to The Independent where he is caliming that 'People will pay when the truth comes out' and that he will reveal his side of the story once the issue is over.

Earlier, a Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) official said the PCB was willing to accept a replacement adjudicator to speed up the process after a postponement was caused by the enforced absence of ICC chief referee Madugalle.

I don’t know how much Pakistan is interested in having only Madugalle as the adjudicator. We already have herad that they can accept someone like Lloyd, who is in England, to perform the duties of the adjudicator. But lets assume for a moment that Pakistan have made up their mind and they only want Madugalle.

But, can someone well tell me why England’s interest is important in this matter. This is an issue concerning Pakistan, Hair, and ICC. Why should England poke their nose and tell that they want to have Madugalle as well since they are comfortable with him. To hell with ECB’s preference and comfort:mad: . They just want to have their ODI series and will don’t give a flying f**k about Inzi and Pakistan after the ODI series

It is so clear that ICC is just coming up with highly stupid excuses in order to delay the hearing and it is more frustrating to see that Sheryar “the spineless” khan is doing nothing about it.

What will happen to the forfeiture and result of the match,?Now when the hearing will take place ,they will say that it,s too late to change the result of the Match.

I know I am being insensitive and selfish here, but what's with Madugalle? I mean sure his sister is sick or got into an accident or whatever, but he's NOT a doctor assigned to her. I am sure he's had enough time to be with her, and she's obviously not in critical condition, now why does he need to wait until she's up and running before Madugalle can go back to his job.

It seems to me that he did have cold feet and used his sister's conditional initially to get out of handling this controversy. That obviously didn't work, and ICC is using his sister as an excuse to delay the hearing.

I wish Madugalle's sister would just get up, hold a press conference, and announce thatshe's not the root cause in this delay.

she is not. ICC is just making an excuse. They couldn't afford Pakistan cancelling the ODI.
I guess, PCB still needs to request to atleast postpone the ODI till the decision.

^^ You know CoolBreeze, that's a marvelous idea. Why didn't I think of that (obviously cuz I am not Einstein). Why doesn't PCB take the stance that ODIs be pushed out by a week to allow for hearing to complete and some breathing space for Pakistani players because they have been 'traumatized' by the recent events and need some time to recover. That stance solves all the problems, we get the hearing before ODIs, Madugalle gets to sit by his sister (doing whatever he's doing there), and ECB can continue hoping that Pakistan will play them after the conclusion of the hearing.
