well Xtreme, you can't just blame Inzi. The team selection is a disaster and Miandad is also involved there. How could they go in without a sixth bowler? And of the five bowlers having three part-timers is just criminal.

Inzi alone cant be blamed. The team selection and the decision to bowl first is not his alone. Overall a pathetic show by the Pak team management. still it could all turn by the end of the match. Some hope. !!!!!

Yeah , showing great maturity there, Mr. Moderator. By making this ridiculous post, you’re setting a very good precedent for others to follow. Awesome.
Coming to Inzi’s captaincy, he’s clearly playing to his strengths. There is considerable movement in the pitch and that’s what Inzi is probably looking at. The fact that our bowlers are bowling Nos and Wides is not Inzi’s fault. Shoaib had Sachin caught twice during one inning! First on a no-ball, and then on a legit ball. If Shoaib hadn’t bowled the no-ball, the score card could’ve been a lot different. Same goes for Sehwag. He was dropped for naught by Malik. So I dont see any problems with the captaincy. There was a clear plan of action in place, and Inzi was only following that. If anyone’s to blame for the high Indian score right now, its the team, not the captain.

Ok let's look at examples of leadership in the past in such situations. When Pakistan last won the World Cup we also had a problem with no-balls and wides. Imran took the bull by the horns and told his bowlers "forget about the no-balls and wides just go for it". And they did.
Right now you have a team out there playing like a bemused hopeless bunch of retards who don't seem to have a clue what to do next. Maybe that bright spark Inzi will tell them where they're going wrong? ;)
You comparing Imran, wasim, aaqib javed and the rest with Shoaib, Sami, Naveed and Razzaq. 
Apart from Shoaib no one comes clsoe to those greats and even he is no where near to Wasim. It is a totally different situation.
well I agree that Inzi is not the sharpest fella on the field and in the head. But what do you if your bowlers let you down so badly? And you only got five bowlers only two of which are specialists - how many options do you have?
I don't think there's any point discussing his captaincy since he's not going to be replaced anyway. But I definitely want the bowling to be changed. Saqi or a third pacer HAS to come in or we will be murdered in the other matches too.
I am comparing Imran with Inzi as a captain. Let's not muddy the issue here. And btw whether we win this game or lose is beside the point. Like I said in the initial post, let's discuss Inzimam's credentials as a captain. What do you think they are?
ok, seriously speaking. his only credential is that he's a very good batsman and one of the senior most pros in the team if not the senior most.
I agree with sambs that he is not solely responsible. His bowlers have let him down as well. But the team selection left a lot to be desired and it needed innovation and some cretive thinking!
Regardless of who wins the match today, I disagree with the team selection for this game. They have essentially nullified the advantage we had in our bowling department. I doubt Inzamam had a significant say in team selection though.
Anyway, I'll maintain that he sucks as a captain, even if we win the series 5-0.

Thank you. That is my point precisely and I'll take it up further once this game is over because there are some questions that need answering.
You cannot blame Inzi. I think it was a good decision to bowl first, there was some movement of the ball in the beginging But sadly, our opening bowlers failed to take any advantage of it, especially Sami has really struggled. When you have only 2 specialist bowlers in the team, obviously you're on the backfoot from the word go. I would say the team selection was awful for this match, not much thought put into it.
