well very scattered educational history but here goes :
1 ) iniital schooling from Usman Public School Karachi
2) 9th class til intermediate - Saudi Arabian School , Pak section Khobar, Saudia Arabia
3) Graduated with major in computer science from Punjab inst. of Computer Science, Lahore
4) Currently MS in Csomputer science Candidate in Lahore University of Management Sciences, Lahore.

I thot I had my intro here already 
Completed my first 11 years of education in 4 different schools between Karachi and Jeddah (KSA) then finally completed HSC II and 4 years of BE Industrial Electronics in Karachi (IIEE).
Moved to US and did MS in EE, Communication and Signal Processing. Dreamed about working in Digital Signal Processing area and joined NEC, now that dream is dead, been stuck with this company for Green Card and now can’t go anywhere else since don’t have the experience to change career and economy is still at lows to provide a chance into new/different arena.
Its a brilliant thread :k:

Well lets see..I graduated last year from Chicago with a Masters Degree in Computer Sciences with honors.Had an engineering degree from UET , Pakistan before that. Worked in a multinational firm in Chicago as as an application developer.Got laid off recently and since then looking for a job.
thats pretty much it..
I switched from one school to another when I was in Karachi so I won't mention their names.
I completed 9-12th grade in 2001 here in Chicago at Senn High school.
Right now I'm a junior @ Northeastern and doing my bachelor's degree in Business & Management. I'm hoping to graduate in two years.

Update: I am joining my new job on March 1st 2004 as a Software HelpDesk Support in a mid-size company in NY.

welli started of my early schooling from zaheer children paradise karachi then shifted to adam and eve ..in hyderi …then to rawalpindi ..grammer public school …
admitted in ISlamabad college for boys(ICB) done graduation from there…in zoology chemisrty and geography…
in the mean time got enrolled in Chartered accountant institue…passed both graduation and CA FE-1 in same year…(pshycho is’nt it …zoology and accounting same time…thats what my class fellows called me-crack shot..:D)
khair… now comes the bad part
Had some disagreement with my colloge principal …on giving time for namaz…so the guy just took his revenge by not giving us permission to appear in CA FE-2 papers…lost my 2 precious year waiting for no objection /competence certificate…
so i left CA and got enrolled for ACCA (uk) and am now in its final part alhumdolilah…
** EXPERIANCE**
Have very little experiance …worked with a chartered accountant company …then as a consultant with another Chartered accountant company -one of top five in pak- left the job due to papers last decmeber …and am now looking for job…\

BS (Computer Systems Engineering): Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute, Pakistan. 2002. Final Year Project : "intelligent" distribution of sequential code on a distributed network of computers according to static models of nodes and links.
MS (Computer Science (AI/distributed systems)): 2003-present: University of Souther California, LA . Concentration largely in AI and distributed reasoning.
Phd: 2004- ? . Currently half way into the phd programme with a sorta-offer for doing phd at USC ..but undecided because of tiff with advisors / job offer at different place .
work experience:
Summer 2001: intern at DCC Karachi. Sameer Hoodhbuoy's trouble riddled visionary outfit. Great experience.
October - December 2002: DCC Karachi. went back to the company to work on a distributed simulations project. (specifically fault tolerance / performance engineering for large scale distributed systems)
January - August 2003: USC. student researcher. Worked on fault tolerance in a distributed agents algorithm. Published paper in IJCAI DCR Workshop at Acapulco Mexico.
June - December 2003: Institute for Creative Technologies, Los Angeles. Intern/Programmer. Worked on an "intelligent" immersive simulation..specifically on writing tools for generating and modeling non verbal behaviour in virtual characters.
January - Present 2004: USC, Research Assistant. Working on preprocessing for speeding up distributed constraint optimisation. Already have ten fold speedup on the current best algo for certain problems :D . hopefully gunning to get the work published in CP 2004.
