1.What is your first name and what does it mean?
My first name is Arshad. It means the righteous one, the eldest, the seniormost.
**2. What is your favorite forum on GS and why? **
The favourite would have to be Café as that’s where I spend most of time, when I am online. I like café because you can just talk rubbish with anyone that is around. Its more informal and more like chatting with people than just posting your comments or opinions.
**3.How did you find GS? How has the experience been so far? **
Well I was searching for a Punjabi song and I landed on GS. I registered and posted my first post in LDH’s thread. I did not even discover café until a couple of weeks later. When I did, the real fun started.
**4. Who is your favorite mod? **
I like all the moderators. Phatima is funny, Shikra is quite sensible. Sheen is a somewhat unknown quantity as a moderator to me. EMM since she is a moderator at least she cannot flood anymore lol, and she is doing a good job. I don’t know if Danny is a moderator at the moment but I was impressed by his performance he took his role seriously and bought some passion into the role.
**5.Who was the first friend you made on GS? **
**I don’t make friends very easily. How do you define a friend? I think I would define for this purpose as someone that I PM or I put on my MSN. I think Danny was the first one that I PMed. PCP was the first one that I added to my MSN. **
**6.Have you met any guppies? How was the experience? **
I have just met one. The experience was good. I won’t name the Guppan. We chatted a lot. Your learn more about a person within an hour of meeting them than you can after years of knowing them on GS. In real life some people are very different from how they are here. I learned that person was very intelligent and good company but I also learned that the person could never turn up on time and was bossy deep down.
7.Which forums you don’t like to post in and why.
I think this question would best be answered by mentioning the ones that I post in as otherwise the list will be long. I post in café, general, life1 and world. I used to post in audio and video, but stopped for some reason…and instead post in my journal now.
The second part of the question-why? Because I don’t really want to get dragged into serious issues, arguing with people, or they don’t interest me. The exception is World and Pakistani, but then I feel strongly about most of these issues. I come to GS to have fun or get over my boredom and I don’t want to tax my brain too much.

Arshad is my name and 5 is a number taken from my email address.
**9. Name the guppy/guppan u respect most and why? **
I respect everyone. I respect all the mods. I respect all the people that visit my journal. I respect all the people that I chat to on Café. Everybody is special in their own special way.
**10. Name the guppy you are jealous of? **
I don’t get jealous or believe in jealousy.
11.What’s your philosophy of life?
**My philosophy of life is trying to do the best you can. Giving 100% to everything that you do. Be it work, hobby or family. Nobody can ask for more. **
**12. How come you’re so poetic? How does it influence your personality? **
I don’t think I am poetic. I do have my moments but those are rare and far in between.
***13.One weird habit that you think you should get rid of? ***
I cannot think of any at this time although that is not to say that I don’t have any.

I cannot honestly remember. I am not the type to be affected by others comments, even if I were it would just affect me in the very short-term. I try not to say anything hurtful to anyone either, and where I might think that I may have, I have no problem in apologising.
15.One special memory you can never forget?

I don’t generally remember my dreams.
***17.How do you like GS? If you could bring three changes to how it is now, what would you do? ***
I don’t really know what changes I would bring to GS. I think GS is fine as it is. Any changes would only be administrative. I think I would just try to create systems and procedures. Move from an ad-hoc way of doing things to perhaps a more scientific way of doing things. I would try to listen to the users and see what they had to say. Ultimately they are the clients, I guess if you are in touch with your clients and give them what they want then you cannot go wrong. Sometimes you have problems connecting to the site or it’s a bit slow. That should be improved.
***18.Something you’ve learnt from being a member on Gupshup? ***
***I am always learning things. Life is just a one big university. I am sure that I would have learn’t things here as well although I cannot really pinpoint. Actually I realise that nobody is perfect or imperfect. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses. Everyone has their ups and downs. ***

I don’t really have a favourite as such….I read and watch a lot of different things, and every movie , song, book, singer, actor and country has its own story to tell. I am not sure what colour I would like. I mean I would like a different colour in a car than on my wall. I would like different colours in my clothes, then say maybe somewhere else.
