Did You guys see it.He was pretty precise and open about so many topics …The interviewer asked him about the “Latthi Charge” on the journalists in front of supreme court and his answer was that you have to see the whole picture. It was an awful act of stupidity etc..The Police are not given orders from the president or the chief minister or even the IG…and they have a thankless job and they had gotten the orders to keep people away and had barricades. And none the less those people tries to not abide the law and tried to force their way in..and it makes sense. He was saying that both parties were partners in crime . Anyway did you guys see it?

Thats wat I think too! The difference that he has brought to the country is lot more then what was brought by Bo Nazir and Nawaz Sharif terms combined…To me the results speak for themselves..rest is white noise which will never go away.Yes he has made some stupid mistakes but we should give others the same sort of forgiveness that we seek for ourselves from others:)

There was stark sincerity in his remarks. I don't know how he is handling all the ulu's (such as on this forum) who think he is out to destroy pakistan. I wish him the best, if he doesn't win the election. He should go to Malaysia or Turkey. Two nations that Pakistan can learn from, but Pakistanis are just too stupid to see because they are busy worshipping and appeasing not god...but their arab masters.

I agree, many Pakistanis are too stupid, busy worshipping money they see in growing economy while failing to see the moral/social/political destruction by negotiating/pardoning of high profile criminals 1985-1999.

The interview was good because the questions were about as hard to swallow as cookies and milk. Last time Kamran interviewed Musharraf, he actually had to go on TV and explain his choice of rather lame questions.
OTOT, I hope none of us missed the rather "convincing" performance of the same commando on Dawn News last night. Zafar Abbas was the host with some tricky questions that resulted in several "No comments" answers.

Watched both. Good job by Zafar Abbas too. And some diff questions. Gen Musharraf was a bit irritated at some points, but even then his arguments hit back strong. For eg the “issue of legitimacy” > “Allowed by SC and 2/3 Majority, elected govts and so on…”
As far as the ‘no comments’ were concerned, it was about how/when/where/what on BB-Mush meeting and deal.
I’m sure no leader in the world is open about everything the interviewer wants to know on satellite TV. Plus I don’t think there was anything too sweet and creamy about KK’s questions.

got a thrashing when the next morning quarter page ads appeared in papers advertising Zaffar Abbas’ interview with the Gen Pres very next night. They weren’t exclusive after all. And as Gen Mush told KK, he’d be coming out ito the media more in the coming days. I’m sure most of that will be as **Gen **Musharraf too.

pai jee the only thing strong in that point was Musharraf's anger. Otherwise, we know the regime is bogged down by questions of legitimacy, even after a decision from the judiciary and hand picked govt. Zafar let him off on several occasions, especially the part abt whether the whole coup and subsequent events were planned or not. But perhaps the sweetest part of the interview was Musharraf's "mein na manoo" attitude. Almost like Inzi, every answer started in the general direction of "No. this is not so"

pai the underlying issue here was not what other uniformed president*s*..(ok President) would say..it was more to do with the fact that if he is talking about democracy, national reconciliation, and overall good of the country, why keep it secret? Why not even admit the fact that such meetings took place? Did this question deserve "no comment"? Does this nation deserve to know what it's King Emperor is up to?
