I don't what it is, but now, more than ever before, I see people living through their iphones, and their laptops, ignoring the surrounding social scene.
Starbucks, any coffee shop, even at restaurants now for lunch - you'll see people on their ipads, iphones, etc. The other day, went to eat outside, and dude sitting next to us was sitting alone on his ipad reading a book while eating his dinner.
How sad have we become? Before, I remember sitting down with people and playing board games, etc.
I don't see anything wrong with a guy sitting alone on his iPad (or any other device). What might be sad is if several people went as a group and ended up just browsing on their own devices.
