In some instances the Bible states the Father (voice from heaven), the Son and some the Holy Spirit.
Had to look the word up : Supplication (also known as petitioning) is the most common form of prayer, wherein a person asks a supernatural deity to provide something, either for the person who is praying or for someone else on whose behalf a prayer of supplication is being made. - Wikipedia
I think the discussion has run it's time on the discussion of how the two religions experience "God". I suggest that you leave the thread as is for anyone else to carry on discussion as and if they want. Please start a new thread about your second point "Prophets" in similar fashion as this one. I don't know what you wish to discuss as major points.
Thank you for the civil discussion thus far, I hope the moderators, we and other co-contributors can carry on in the same vein. I am sure that many of the points covered in this thread will again be covered, albeit from different angles, in some of the other issues still to be discussed.

I appreciate your patience and good intentions as well. And also hope that further contributors to this thread will adhere to the civility we have demonstrated. I would emphasize for many others that discussions are based on understanding and not learning. When anyone is ready to debate they should be those who have an understanding of what they have learned. This is something that helps communicate and avoid any mudslinging. Using scriptures is definitely encouraged however you should be able the support the scripture through your understanding of it as well otherwise debates lead to much frustration.
