*Avicenna
*
**A polymath born in Persia around 980 CE, Avicenna was, among other things, an astronomer, chemist, mathematician, poet, and the foremost physician and philosopher of his time. The Canon of Medicine, one of his most famous works, remained a standard medical text at many Islamic and European universities until the 18th century. Called the "doctor of doctors," Avicenna is regarded as the father of modern medicine, particularly for introducing what practices to the study of physiology?

Suleiman the Magnificent (1494)
Sultan Suleiman I, or Suleiman the Magnificent, reigned from 1520 to 1566, during which time the Ottoman Empire reached the height of its power and prestige. Suleiman restructured the Ottoman legal system, a move that earned him the name Kanuni, or "the Lawgiver." At the time of his death, Mecca, Medina, Jerusalem, Damascus, Baghdad, many Balkan provinces, and most of North Africa were under his empire's control. Why did Suleiman have his close boyhood friend, Ibrahim Pasha, executed?

*Siege of Sidney Street
*
**Having killed several London policemen during a botched robbery in 1910, the members of a politically motivated gang of burglars went into hiding. When their location was revealed to authorities, 200 men were sent to surround the building. This prompted a wild gunfight now known as the Siege of Sidney Street. Though outmanned, the gang members possessed superior weapons and were only overtaken when their building caught fire. Why was Winston Churchill criticized for his role in the siege?

***Construction of Canadian Pacific Railway Completed (1885)
The Canadian Pacific Railway was originally built between eastern Canada and British Columbia, fulfilling a promise made to British Columbia when it agreed to join the Canadian Confederation in 1871. The railway's transcontinental passenger service was instrumental in the settlement and development of Western Canada. Today, it also includes US hubs, such as New York, but its primary passenger service was dropped in 1986. Why was the image of a beaver chosen for the railway's logo?

***Leon Trotsky (1879)
Trotsky was a Marxist intellectual whose ideas form the basis of Trotskyism, a Communist ideology based on the theory of worldwide revolution. He was a crucial figure in the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution in Russia and organized the Red Army in the civil war that followed. After a power struggle with Joseph Stalin in the 1920s, Trotsky was exiled from the USSR. In 1940, he was assassinated in Mexico by an alleged Soviet agent with ties to Stalin. From whom did he borrow the name "Trotsky"?
Top 10 Most Expensive Accidents in History
==============================
***Throughout history, humans have always been prone to accidents. Some, such as the exotic car crashes seen on this page, can be very expensive. But that’s trivial compared to the truly expensive accidents. An accident is defined as “an undesirable or unfortunate happening that occurs unintentionally and usually results in harm, injury, damage, or loss”. Our aim is to list the top 10 most expensive accidents in the history of the world as measured in dollars. ***
***This includes property damage and expenses incurred related to the accident such as cleanup and industry losses. Many of these accidents involve casualties which obviously cannot be measured in dollar terms. Each life lost is priceless and is not factored into the equation. Deliberate actions such as war or terrorism and natural disasters do not qualify as accidents and therefore are not included in this list. ***
10. Titanic
![]()
$150 Million
***The sinking of the Titanic is possibly the most famous accident in the world. But it barely makes our list of top 10 most expensive. On April 15, 1912, the Titanic sank on its maiden voyage and was considered to be the most luxurious ocean liner ever built. Over 1,500 people lost their lives when the ship ran into an iceberg and sunk in frigid waters. The ship cost $7 million to build ($150 million in today’s dollars). ***
#9. Tanker Truck vs Bridge
![]()
$358 Million
On August 26, 2004, a car collided with a tanker truck containing 32,000 liters of fuel on the Wiehltal Bridge in Germany. The tanker crashed through the guardrail and fell 90 feet off the A4 Autobahn resulting in a huge explosion and fire which destroyed the load-bearing ability of the bridge. Temporary repairs cost $40 million and the cost to replace the bridge is estimated at $318 Million.
#8. MetroLink Crash
![]()
$500 Million
***On September 12, 2008, in what was one of the worst train crashes in California history, 25 people were killed when a Metrolink commuter train crashed head-on into a Union Pacific freight train in Los Angeles. It is thought that the Metrolink train may have run through a red signal while the conductor was busy text messaging. Wrongful death lawsuits are expected to cause $500 million in losses for Metrolink. ***
#7. B-2 Bomber Crash
![]()
$1.4 Billion
***Here we have our first billion dollar accident (and we’re only #7 on the list). This B-2 stealth bomber crashed shortly after taking off from an air base in Guam on February 23, 2008. Investigators blamed distorted data in the flight control computers caused by moisture in the system. This resulted in the aircraft making a sudden nose-up move which made the B-2 stall and crash. This was 1 of only 21 ever built and was the most expensive aviation accident in history. Both pilots were able to eject to safety. ***
![]()
The crash was captured on video. It shows one B-2 Bomber successfully taking off followed by the B-2 Bomber which crashes. The crash starts at 2:00
**#6. Exxon Valdez **
![]()
$2.5 Billion
***The Exxon Valdez oil spill was not a large one in relation to the world’s biggest oil spills, but it was a costly one due to the remote location of Prince William Sound (accessible only by helicopter and boat). On March 24, 1989, 10.8 million gallons of oil was spilled when the ship’s master, Joseph Hazelwood, left the controls and the ship crashed into a Reef. The cleanup cost Exxon $2.5 billion. ***
#5. Piper Alpha Oil Rig
***
***
$3.4 Billion
The world’s worst off-shore oil disaster. At one time, it was the world’s single largest oil producer, spewing out 317,000 barrels of oil per day. On July 6, 1988, as part of routine maintenance, technicians removed and checked safety valves which were essential in preventing dangerous build-up of liquid gas. There were 100 identical safety valves which were checked. Unfortunately, the technicians made a mistake and forgot to replace one of them. At 10 PM that same night, a technician pressed a start button for the liquid gas pumps and the world’s most expensive oil rig accident was set in motion.
Within 2 hours, the 300 foot platform was engulfed in flames. It eventually collapsed, killing 167 workers and resulting in $3.4 Billion in damages.
#4. Challenger Explosion
***
***
$5.5 Billion
The Space Shuttle Challenger was destroyed 73 seconds after takeoff due on January 28, 1986 due to a faulty O-ring. It failed to seal one of the joints, allowing pressurized gas to reach the outside. This in turn caused the external tank to dump its payload of liquid hydrogen causing a massive explosion. The cost of replacing the Space Shuttle was $2 billion in 1986 ($4.5 billion in today’s dollars). The cost of investigation, problem correction, and replacement of lost equipment cost $450 million from 1986-1987 ($1 Billion in today’s dollars).
#3. Prestige Oil Spill
***
***
$12 Billion
***On November 13, 2002, the Prestige oil tanker was carrying 77,000 tons of heavy fuel oil when one of its twelve tanks burst during a storm off Galicia, Spain. Fearing that the ship would sink, the captain called for help from Spanish rescue workers, expecting them to take the ship into harbour. However, pressure from local authorities forced the captain to steer the ship away from the coast. The captain tried to get help from the French and Portuguese authorities, but they too ordered the ship away from their shores. The storm eventually took its toll on the ship resulting in the tanker splitting in half and releasing 20 million gallons oil into the sea.
According to a report by the Pontevedra Economist Board, the total cleanup cost $12 billion. ***
#2. Space Shuttle Columbia
***
***
$13 Billion
***The Space Shuttle Columbia was the first space worthy shuttle in NASA’s orbital fleet. It was destroyed during re-entry over Texas on February 1, 2003 after a hole was punctured in one of the wings during launch 16 days earlier. The original cost of the shuttle was $2 Billion in 1978. That comes out to $6.3 Billion in today’s dollars. $500 million was spent on the investigation, making it the costliest aircraft accident investigation in history. The search and recovery of debris cost $300 million.
In the end, the total cost of the accident (not including replacement of the shuttle) came out to $13 Billion according to the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. ***
#1. Chernobyl
***
***
$200 Billion
***On April 26, 1986, the world witnessed the costliest accident in history. The Chernobyl disaster has been called the biggest socio-economic catastrophe in peacetime history. 50% of the area of Ukraine is in some way contaminated. Over 200,000 people had to be evacuated and resettled while 1.7 million people were directly affected by the disaster. The death toll attributed to Chernobyl, including people who died from cancer years later, is estimated at 125,000. The total costs including cleanup, resettlement, and compensation to victims has been estimated to be roughly $200 Billion. The cost of a new steel shelter for the Chernobyl nuclear plant will cost $2 billion alone. The accident was officially attributed to power plant operators who violated plant procedures and were ignorant of the safety requirements needed. ***

LIFE Magazine’s Classic Photos
Fred Astaire, 1945
Even as thousands of copies of his Rita Hayworth pinup were zooming across the world to bolster the morale of US troops fighting in the Pacific, Bob Landry, himself returned from the European Theater, entered the studio to make a lighter—than—air portrait of one of Hayworth’s favorite dance partners. Landry could shoot fierce scenes and fun ones. Consider: Within a few months he made images for LIFE of a French woman discovering her husband’s body in St. Marcouf, Normandy; of French patriots beating a German collaborator in Rennes; and this, of Hollywood’s high-flying Astaire.
Ingrid Bergman, 1949
***
The Swedish beauty was one of the top stars of the 1940s (Casablanca, Gaslight, Notorious), but her career in the U.S. Derailed in 1949 when she left her husband and daughter for the Italian director Roberto Rossellini. Bergman could not work in an American film for seven years, though upon her return, in 1956, she won an Oscar for Anastasia. LIFE’s Gordon Parks was a close friend, and Bergman trusted him to the extent that she invited him to the 1949 shoot for Stromboli— directed by Rossellini, at the time perceived as the villain — where he made this haunting portrait. ***
The Right Stuff, 1959
**
*****By Ralph Morse
The space administration selected seven astronauts who would carry America’s hopes into space against the Soviet Union, then it elected to let LIFE into the inner sanctum. Ralph Morse was such a constant in their activities that the Mercury Seven team (front row, left to right: Wally Schirra, Deke Slayton, John Glenn and Scott Carpenter; back row: Alan Shepard, Gus Grissom and Gordon Cooper) dubbed Morse the Eighth Astronaut. Of LIFE’s coverage, Morse said, “You’ve got to remember, we made heroes of the astronauts the day they were picked. . . . We took seven men who were all good test pilots and terrific guys, but we were making heroes out of men who hadn’t done anything yet.” ***
MacArthur Comes Ashore, 1945
***General Douglas MacArthur and photographer Carl Mydans both experienced jarring twists of fate in World War II’s Pacific Theater before arriving at this moment. MacArthur was driven from the Philippines by the Japanese in March 1942, declaring emphatically, “I shall return.” Two months earlier, Mydans, covering the war for LIFE, had been taken prisoner in Manila; he was held for nearly two years before being repatriated in a POW exchange. MacArthur made good on his pledge in October of '44. This photo, taken during American landings at Lingayen Gulf in the Philippines, is invariably used to commemorate “the return.” However, it was actually taken three months later, at a different beach than that of the original landing. The general apparently preferred his commanding mien in this version. ***
Pablo Picasso, 1949
The Albanian native Gjon Mili immigrated to America to study electrical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After working at Westinghouse on photographic applications of lighting techniques, he met in 1937 with M.I.T.'S Harold Edgerton, who had developed stroboscopic light. Mili experimented with the process, and his dazzling pictures in LIFE became famous. His portrait of the painter Picasso sketching with a penlight at the Madoura Pottery workshop in Vallauris, France, is a masterwork.
Sophia Loren, 1961
***Over the years, the Italian actress and photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt had a close relationship and it led to many memorable portraits, including this one. ***
Marlon Brando and Kim*** Hunter, 1947***
***Producer Irene Mayer Selznick had wanted Margaret Sullavan and John Garfield to play Stella and Stanley Kowalski in the original Broadway production of A Streetcar Named Desire. But a hungry young actor named Marlon Brando drove himself from New York City to Cape Cod to personally audition for playwright Tennessee Williams. The legend is that as soon as Williams saw Brando through the screen door of his house, he knew he had found his Stanley. In 1947 it was simplicity itself for photographer Elisofon to drift down from LIFE’s offices to Times Square, where the 23-year-old Brando was creating a nightly sensation, and show the country what all the fuss was about. ***
Jackson Pollock, 1949
**LIFE’s editors had heard that something weird and new—and perhaps important—was happening on Long Island, so Martha Holmes traveled to meet with the artist Jackson Pollock. Holmes recorded her day, including a session in the studio during which Pollock demonstrated his avant-garde technique by applying house paint and sand to a canvas that would become known as “Number 1, 1949.” Holmes’s pictures made the abstract expressionist famous when they graced the August 8 article, “Jackson Pollock: Is he the greatest living painter in the United States?” **
Jackie Robinson, 1955
**Classic sports photos are different: In many instances, they don’t fill out until later, the perfect image telling the multilayered story of the whole. Ralph Morse had already made searing images for LIFE during World War II. In 1955, he stuck with Jackie Robinson during the Brooklyn Dodgers’ World Series showdown against their awe-inducing crosstown rivals, the Yankees. Robinson was, of course, the first black player in the major leagues, and he was terrific. Off the field, he played demure. On the field, he shouted the future. Morse caught Robinson rounding third base, and the Dodgers went on to beat the Yanks. A perfect picture suddenly meant more. **
Jack and Jackie, 1953
**The couple’s first cover shot for LIFE showed the senator and his fiancé sailing off Cape Cod. **
The Mahatma, 1946
***“I feel that utter truth is essential,” Margaret Bourke-White once said of photography, “and to get that truth may take a lot of searching and long hours.” This approach to the craft is, it can be said, Gandhi-esque, so perhaps it is fitting that the Mahatma, who spent many long hours searching for answers, was one of her regular subjects in the 1940s. Here, the great man of peace is at his spinning wheel in Poona, India. ***
Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly, 1956
***Allan Grant had a talent and a penchant for making humorous photographs, and his images often appeared in LIFE’s Speaking of Pictures section, a repository for funny or otherwise striking shots. But he could make a purely beautiful photo, too, as he did backstage at the RKO Pantages Theatre in Hollywood on the night of March 21, 1956. The occasion was the Academy Awards, and in this image you can feel the tension—and these two stars weren’t even up for Oscars. They were there to present: Kelly gave the award for Best Actor (Ernest Borgnine won for Marty), while Hepburn bestowed the statue for Best Film (also for Marty). Just by the way, the women got on famously. ***
The Chrysler Building, circa 1935
**In 1930, six years before signing on at LIFE, Margaret Bourke-White leased a studio in New York City’s sexy new Deco darling, the Chrysler Building, which had been completed only that May (and for a brief time was the world’s tallest building). She took striking pictures of the building’s majestic spire, and, while situated atop its 61st-floor gargoyles, this woman once known as Maggie the Indestructible cast her eye and lens over all of Gotham and made fantastic cityscapes. This particular photo, as famous as any of the Chrysler shots that Bourke-White took, shows the photographer at her precarious perch, readying her camera. This portrait of the artist as a young daredevil was taken by Bourke-White’ s assistant. **

I dont know who removed my thread on JINNs..and if its there..I cant seem to locate it!
Anyway....
**Here is a related article on Jinns.

-Raju
What Are Jinn ?
Question 1: Who are the jinn?
The jinn are among the creatures that Allah (swt) created. Allah (swt) created angels, jinn, mankind, animals, plants and others. Jinn have some qualities like human beings. These qualities are intellect, discrimination, freedom, and the power to choose between right and wrong, between true and false, as well as between good and bad.
Question 2: When did Allah (swt) create the jinn?
Allah (swt) created the jinn before Adam (pbuh) was created. Both were created in heaven and lived in paradise. One may read in Surah Al-Hijr (The Rocky Tract) [Qur'an, 15:26-27]. However, nothing was mentioned about the duration of time of the jinn's creation before Adam (pbuh).
*Question 3: What are jinn created from? *
Jinn are created from fire of hot wind [Qur'an, 15:27]; and from smokeless fire [Qur'an, 55:15]. They were originally made from fire and then molded and shaped in the form and shape that Allah (swt) wanted them to be. This means that they do not anymore possess their fiery nature. It is not known therefore, their final shape, form, and chemical composition. Since we cannot see them, therefore, it is not easy to do any analysis of their chemical nature. In contrast, mankind was created from soil, mud, and clay. They were molded as human beings. Our final form is no more mud or clay.
Question 4: Do jinn have bodies?
Yes and no! It depends upon the information that one has. One group of scholars believe that jinn do not have bodies of their own. They also do not inhabit bodies of other creatures. However, they do exist independently by themselves. Therefore, they do not know how they exist without bodies: smoke, flame, fire or what?
The other group of scholars do believe that jinn do have bodies either definite or subtle. If their bodies are definite then they have some density; otherwise, if they are subtle, then **they are so fine that our weak eyes cannot see them. One may read Surah Al-A'raf (The Heights) [Qur'an, 7:27]. Even if they are subtle they should have weight and density similar to that of the air itself. **
Question 5: Do jinn die?
Yes. Jinn do die. As long as they are creatures created by Allah (swt), they should die. They are creatures that marry, produce children, eat, drink, and die like all other creatures in the universe. One may read Qur'an Surah Al-Rahman (The Most Merciful) [Qur'an, 55:26-28].
*Question 6: Do the jinn feel envy of us? *
Yes. There are two types of evil eye: human and the jinn. One has to read regularly 'A'oozu Billahi Minash-shaitanir Rajeem. Also, by reading Ayah Al-Kursi and Al-Mu'awwazatain, one will be protected from the evil eyes of both the jinn and mankind.
**Question 7: Are there messengers and prophets from within the community of jinn? **
Yes. Allah (swt) has sent prophets and messengers to jinn from within the jinn community. Also, Allah (swt) sent Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to mankind, to jinn, and to other creatures. In Surah Al-An'am (The Cattle), Allah (swt) explains that He sent messengers to men and to jinn. See Qur'an [6:130].
Question 8: Do jinn have different religions, sects and denominations?
In Surah Al-Jinn (Ch. 72), Allah (swt) informs us that some jinn accepted Islam, while others refused. Those who refused have deviated, and developed for themselves different methods, different ways of life, and different religions, sects and denominations.
*Question 9: Do jinn marry and have children? *
Yes. Jinn do marry and they do have children. The way they marry is not known to us yet. We may be able to know the future if Allah (swt) wants us to know.
People never knew about microbes, viruses, and the unseen micro creatures. Now we are able to know many things about their life cycles, their life duration, their methods of duplication or reproduction: sexually and asexually. The mere fact that we do not know how the jinn marry and reproduce does not negate their being married and reproduced. The Qur'an stipulates in Surah Al-Kahf (18:50) that they have offsprings. Similarly, the Qur'an states in Surah Al-Rahman (55:56) that jinn and human beings never touched (married) the ladies of paradise.
*Question 10: Can human beings and jinn inter-marry? *
Yes and no. It depends upon how one looks at it. It is a known fact in the Qur'an in Surah Al-Israa' (17:64) that jinn may share with us our wealth and our children. The Hadith of the Prophet (pbuh) reconfirms this concept when he says that when a man has marital relationship with his wife, he should mention the name of Allah (swt). He should seek refuge in Allah (swt) from the outcast shaitan. Otherwise, shaitan folds himself up in the man's urethra and shall have sexual relations along with him.
Moreover, when a man goes to his wife while she is in her menses, shaitan precedes him. She will conceive and will bring forth a sterile person (Mukhannath). Such a sterile person is considered to be child of the jinn.
Question 11: Do jinn have animals as pets?
Yes. Jinn do have animals or beasts of their own. The Prophet (pbuh) mentioned that every piece of dung is fodder for the beasts of the jinn. However, we do not know what type of beasts the jinn have. The same thing is to be said as to the varieties of beasts, their number, their shape, their size, their weight and so on.
Question 12: Do jinn have homes of their own?
Yes. The jinn do have homes. They live all over the planet earth. However, there are special places that one may find them in abundance and on a regular basis. These are deserts, ruins, places of impurities such as dunghills, bathrooms and graveyards. They live in houses of human beings too. For those who enter their houses mentioning the name of Allah (swt), the jinn cannot have a place to stay overnight in that house. If the people of the house mention the name of Allah (swt) before eating, then the shaitan will not be able to eat with them.
Question 13: Is it true that animals see jinn and angels?
**Yes. Animals do see angels and shaitan. When a rooster sees an angel, it starts crowing. However, when a donkey starts braying it is seeing a jinn. **
The most important people in our lives are our family.
*A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door. *
SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?' *
*DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man. *
*SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?' *
*DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily. *
*SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?' *
*DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.' *
*SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down. *
*SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?' *
**The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities. ' *
*The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. *
*The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money? *
*After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think: *
*Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door. *
*'Are you asleep, son?' He asked. *
*'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy. *
*'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for.' *
*The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. *
*The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. *
*The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father. *
*'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled. *
*'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied. *
*'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness. *
**It's just a short reminder to all working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love. **
**If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

This is indeed--based on facts--certain bitter facts!
HOORAY FOR COMMERCIALS------------(with certain amendments in some paragraphs to meet the current standards BUT with sincere apologies to Art Buchwald) -------- By Yours Truly.
**
***There has been a great deal of talk about the number of commercials on television.*
***The FCC chairman has complained, as have viewers, who for some reasons think they have rights.
***We happen to be one of those who think there aren't enough commercials. After watching what else television has to offer, we have decided we'd rather watch commercials. But every time we tune one in, it's interrupted by a program. Some of the commercials would make wonderful shows if there weren't so many programs scheduled.
***For example, we were watching a wonderful scene one day of a plane following a beautiful girl in a car. The pilot then get’s out of the plane & goes to the girl and inquires about the car she is driving "It's a............................, of course," she said. But before she could ask the pilot what kind of a plane he was flying, the commercial was interrupted by a stupid baseball game. They never did get back to the couple again.
***We happen to enjoy toothpaste commercials, the ones that tell how half the school used a certain kind of toothpaste and half the school didn't. The half that used the special toothpaste had far fewer cavities. But they never show the half that didn't use the special toothpaste.
***We'd be interested to know how they felt about being given the wrong toothpaste. Surely the parents must have been furious paying for all those cavities. Perhaps the kids with fewer cavities had their teeth knocked out by kids who had to go to the dentist. But just when the commercials get interesting, somebody like Batman or the Fawlty Towers comes on and spoils the show.
***Then there are the soap advertisements. A girl complains that she never could get on a cover of a popular magazine. Her girlfriend whispers the name of a soap. Sure enough, in the next scene the girl's picture is on the cover of many popular magazines. Will some guy ask her to marry him? Will her friends ask her the name of the soap? Will some lad ask her the name of her girlfriend? Nobody knows.
***The most maddening commercials are the ones for cellphones ISPs. We see a beautiful girl clad in a typical asian dress...dancing and speaking out that her lips are free to do nothing but talk talk and talk...in fact she is being told to speak as her lips are free. You wait patiently for her to speak (instead of expressing shyness) but she just dances while her suitor high jumps in excitement that his lips are also free to speak in fact he also loops in a famous sportsmen clad in Nehru jacket to join him for a price. Will that sportsmen teach a trick or two to them on bowling---like he did to Irfan Pathan invariably to skittle his own country players during key matches with arch rivals? Will the guy high jumping ask the girl's hand after speaking and talking and talking or sending sm’s on cellphone but only through that Cellphone ISP's service? No one knows? because just as the girl, finally, gives her shy smile to the boy who again makes a very high jump and freezes in air, you find yourself staring at an anchor cornering politicians one way or the other and same old discussion leading to no end or resolve.
If we were the FCC chairman, we'd do away with television programs and just let them broadcast commercials. There is more plot, more substance and better writing and 'talkshawk' in a soap, vegetable oil, movie, bread, milk, and Cellphone ISP's mini drama ad than in most of the stuff that they show on the air.

:)(Pakistan Scenario):)
**No.1 **
**Hire a lion and give him a 3000 page circular on how to kill a goat. Amend the circular at least three times a day. Send him on inspection to the jungle, where he can threaten to cancel the hunting licence of any fox, wolf, bear, jackal etc who have violated any provision of the 3000 page circular. Lion dies of boredom. **

Give him full rest & make him lazy, Pay him more than his expectation, Never say with him to do any work upto six months, after six months tell him that now you have to fulfils your yearly target within six months otherwise u will be kick out from jungle. Lion dies due to fear, that if he loose this lazy animals jungle where he will go. **
**No.3 **
**Hire a lion. Give him hell a lot of work and pay him lower salary than his politically astute peers. Restructure his job, position, boss, colleagues, designation, department, salary, location every 6 months. Remove all lions above 40 from the organisation by giving them VRS. If he kills 2 goats a day, give him target of killing 20 elephants a day, when there are just 10 elephants in the jungle. Lion dies of exhaustion, overkill and restructuring. **

**No.11 Method: **
