snowdrop, that is not a fair comparison. the equivalent would be if atheists said "people who believe in God have a disease in their hearts."
if you are fine with seeing such comments thrown your way, by all means make them. the trouble most religious people that get offended is with not being able to stomach what they themselves generously dish out. you are free to pass judgment on yourself - your heart, your diseases. leave judgments on others and their purity of heart etc. to them.
