Given that there are all kinds of belief systems and most people don’t change the faith that they were born in, how can one be sure that the God you inherited from your parents is the actual true God?
Given that everyone is sure of the exclusive veracity of their belief in God, how does a belief in the wrong God help those that don’t hold your particular belief? In other words, determining the true belief system is a prerequisite in order to receive any benefit from the ‘what if’ possibility of there being a God.
And since most people don’t seriously study other belief systems in order to find the right path that leads to God, it’s just a roll of the dice that the belief system you inherited will actually save you from hell.
