Re: Innocent victoms of visual rape
I do see both sides of this story...yet I cannot still justify any male disrespecting a female based on her mode of dress. My boys will NEVER EVER judge a "book by its cover" at least not publicly or obviously. A fellow human is just that - whether male or female. And if more parents made this a fact of life to their boys well, then the gals would have so much less to worry about. Yes there are sadly increasing rates of rape in every country - not just USA where rape is more likely to be reported but rape is not a matter of a guy losing control because the woman is JUST TOO sexy - its a matter of a guy wanting to control her. Its a crime of violence. THAT is what needs to be changed and addressed - the way we raise our boys. Women who dress provocotively are those with low self esteem and are looking for admiration in any way they can find it. They are truly to be pitied and if they end up getting raped, it STILL goes back to the fact that the guy is an animal. But know what? THEY arent the typical rape victim. Lesson to be learned? Raise your boys WELL, teach them respect of ALL living things but MOST especially their fellow humans.
