Few things are "interesting" in your story. Your FIL saying "I am pen****" and entering your room when you were changing!!! Do you change without locking the door???

FIL says "i've been married for almost 30 years have you ever seen me sitting beside my wife ?" my parents didn't know how to answer to that but at one point they just wanted to laugh, just to tell you the absurdity of all the things he said. thanks cat woman.

I consider it weird that a grown man didn't think it was inappropriate to enter a couple's bedroom without knocking and specifically when he thought his son was not home and his DIL might be in there alone. Actually, its quite perverse.
Knocking before entering someone's bedroom is global etiquette.

It didnt have a lock, but you dont expect your FIL to come in your room at 7am one week after you're married without knocking right?

Exactly that's why I said ur FIL is weird this and use a curse pen**** in front of his DIL and son.
