Why would some one make an effort if he/she is not already aware, as to what he/she making effort towards ?
If he/she is already aware then she/he is already above, then why would he/she make effort ?

It’s an ongoing process. It’s not a one time thing. Just like compassion and mindfulness aren’t just things you need to realize, you need to practice them.
