My husband doesnt like our 20 montg old daughter dancing alot anymusic comes on and she begins to move to it we all think its cute but he doesnt n starts preaching islam and etcccc is he right to be so strict with her

That's not how Islam works. We ae not told to make everything else haram. We are told not to place unnecessary restrictions upon ourselves, beyond Allah's guidelines.

In the OP's scenario, Hubby should be criticizing the music that the infant is dancing on, not the dance :D .. That 20 month old is not turning the music on. If he wants the discipline, he should discipline the person listening to that music.
