So actual studies and calculated poverty rates mean less to you than this sort of subjective commentary? What makes you think muslims in Bombay have not bought land and houses? How many areas in Bombay are actually not just majority but almost exclusively muslim? any strata within Bombay whether it be the multi-million dollar business/bollywood range or the Rs.150/day slum dweller, Muslims and non-muslims have pretty much the same. A muslim hut in dharavi costs the same as a non-muslim hut. And nobody shut muslims out of dharavi or cuffe parade.
How many outright villages and towns have become muslim whether it be north or south of India over past three decades?
Stop grasping at imaginary straws and try to understand real data instead of trying to find ways of proving the stand you took with no basis.
