He goofed again. He should have said I handled riots to the best of my abilities and I have no regrets about it but I regret that I did not handle media well enough. He is not a man of few words. He knows how to talk. He never apologized for massacre of Muslims in Gujarat. He could say I was not responsible for or cause of Gujarat riots but I am sorry that all this happened on my watch. Great politicians are always apologizing for no reason at all. He is very arrogant.

Reasonable people would conclude you are far too kind to Mr. Modi. There is sufficient reason to believe Mr. Modi went out of his way to prevent police assistance from getting to the muslims during the massacre. So it is fair to conclude Mr. Modi did NOT handle the riot to the best of his abilities.

Or maybe he did handle it EXACTLY the way he wanted to. In which case the statement, unfortunately, is true.
