Looks like if India can beat SL they can make to super8 with point to carry forward as it will be hard for Bangladesh to achieve high NRR.
But you never know Bangladesh can surprise everyone as they have last match to play and they will know exactly what is required. Nobody even expected them to beat new zealand and India on a row but they did.

I see India through to Super 8. But there chances to advance to the Semis are 50/50 if they carried forward 2 points. If they somehow got their without any point, which I don't see possible, then they will be out.

So who will support India if they reached Super 8?????? I know my fellow country men want an early exit for India to enjoy their humiliation. :p

I think Bangladesh would be beaten by SL....Infact they would have difficulty to beat Bermuda too...

one thing is for sure that India is not gonna go down without a fight against SL and if they do really go down, haha then they need to extend their vacation in WI…just look at this::

ok...my excel sheet is ready now..so here is the deal...
Suppose SL has a close match against Bangladesh and wins and then there is close match between India and SL which India wins..then Bangladesh will have to beat Bermuda by almost 250 runs if they bat first. Bug if Kenya bats first and scores 150 Bangladesh will have to score 150 in 5 overs. If Kenya makes 100 then Bangldesh will have to make those runs in less than 2 overs. If Kenya made 200 then Bangldesh will have to make those runs in 8 overs. :D

ok I got it once I saw kenya I did't read furthur.

On serious note, now that India beat bermuda with comfortable margin they have to beat SL, if possible with good margin then they will be in supre8 thats bottom line

Man even in my sleep I was thinking abt India's chances...In any case even if India manages to beat SL things are not gonna be easy as they are not gonan eb carrying 2 points into the next stage....

I really need to get cricket out of my head...coz if I dont and India loses to SL then i might be in distraught for a little bit...

Thing is even if India beats SL and it is a close match the net run rate could come down which will go in BD's favour. Is that right?

Scenario 1: SL beats BL by good margin...and Ind beats SL by fair margin....then BL will really have to beat Bermuda with a bigger margin than around 250 runs....I think in tht scenario Ind and SL will go thru and Ind will go thru with 2 points by virtue of having beaten SL in group stages....That I think will be the best possible scenario for India...

Scenario 2: SL beat BL and SL beat Ind...then I am distraught...my money for buying WC is wasted...I drink loads of alcohol and not show up for work for a few days...

Scenario 3: SL beat BL and SL beat Ind and Ber beat BL...then it all boils down to RR for the second team to qualify....But this is a HIGHLY unlikely scenario...but will definitely make things VERY VERY interesting....
