I boo the Indian players for everything when I go to a match...

But not everyone does that I guess... not that I hate India... I just enjoy watching the boundary fielder get angry :)

there is one topic that gets both pakistanis and indians screaming at each other. And until that issue gets resolved there's still going to be some hostility between us.

No One is innocent neither on the Pakistani side, nor on the Indian side, we all are as much to blame as our policy makers, we voted them in.

NO one is ordinary and no one is innocent.

Do you remember when they came to Pakistan and the hospitality we showed them? They had been fed on so much propoganda that they expected all Pakis/Muslims to be hatefilled terrorists but instead they got love and respect in our country, even poor taxi drivers and shopkeepers let them go free but is that how the Pakis got treated in India? Did they heck (just look a some of the old posts in Pak 1)...

It isn't just limited to treatment of guests.. I remember when they were exchaning prisoners, we let some Indians go and they freed some Pakis, I tell you those Indians who lived in Pakistan were hattey kattey, probably never had that much food in their lives back home in bhooka nanga Chatna Patna whereas I felt like crying when I saw the Paki prisoners, they'd been beat so badly that they'd gone mental, they looked dazed like zombies or sommat.

Apni apni fitrat ki baat hai... Tis true what they say about a momin's heart and a khatris heart.

yup exactly.

Just look at the way Indian fans treat the Pakistani cricket team. They yell obsenities, throw objects at our players, etc...

Where as Pakistanis welcome Indian Cricket team with open arms. Our fans clap when Indian players do good like hitting a 6 or getting a 50 runs, etc and are given standing ovations.

What rubbish!! pakistanis were also treated nicely. U all seem to have selective memories..

When pak toured india in the 90's the kargil war was fresh in mind and there was hostility yet in madras the people gave standing ovation to all the pak players and the pak cricket team also took a lap of honor.. Ask any pak player and they all say that they like going to india etc..

India had'nt toured pak in a very long time and hence the apprehension moreover bcause of taliban and other western media coverage(still continues) people thought the worse.. India toured pak when other teams were not willing to go to pakistan... If anything indian tour was for good for pak more than it was for india..

after that india reciprocated the gesture and was very cordial to pakistan. Our gestures are simple and not over the top but that is in accordance with our character and nature.

Indians will not cheer for any other team in cricket.. just cause paks did it does not make indians wrong.. Cricket is a religion and we will not cheer for any other team. Period.

Pak forums even this one there is plently of abuse agaisnt indians.. Nobody is innocent on both sides. there will always be hostility bcause of our history and of course the wars we fought.

There are 4 types of people in India (and I would think the same in Pak) :

Category 1 : Poor (or barely getting by) hard working people who live by their sweat to make ends meet and provide for the family. This is 50% of Indian population( I would presume). They don't know, don't care about India-Pak issues or Pakistanis in general.

Category 2 : Middle Class and Upper Middle Class people. These are the most impressionable lot. They are given to loose talking, are opinionated and easily manipulated by politicians/media. Their levels of love/hatred for Pakistan fluctuates as per the environment (political situation, what the media is currently telling them, recent terrorist incidents etc). These people comprise ~40% of the population.

Category 3 : Upper class people, intellectuals, artists, authors, expats **etc.** These people seem to get the bigger picture. Are above petty talking and do not have aggressive feelings about Pak. This is 10% of the population.

Category 4 : Politicians...well, their viewpoint about Pak depends on the current political climate and their own vested interests.

Now, the above are gross generalizations but is mostly true...if you ask me.

mr. anil khan, roadrunner, promiscuous paki, and well even you have made derogatory comments about Indians in general. Everybody here has seen every single thread containing these comments.There are more but I can't think of the names right now. Just check out any one of the posts about Indians by these members.

Somebody also pointed out that the same hils true for pakistani forums like these but the fact remains that in actual numbers we dont have so many anti indian statements as the following popular indian forums have

1)Rediff: Has 75% hits from NRI'S so saying that NRI and NRP forums have different views(as pointed out by some body) doesnt make much sense.

2) Masalaboard

3)Even wikipedia which had more NRIs, if you look at the nature of the articles ,...they are getting more biased day by day.Specific example would be article on Siachin, Kargil, Qaideazam, and Pakistan and islam itself.

4)India-forums.com:

Not trying to spread hatred ,just making a point.

I am talking about ratios so populations dont matter at all.Number of posts:number of posts with antipakistani

I can give you the exact ratio say if you type Pakistan in search on any of forums of rediff.Compare the number of anti pakistani statements with total number of threads which have the name pakistan in them
Do the exact same thing in any of the pakistani forums" but this time write india "You can easily see the differnce

I don't have anything against Indians. I view them just like some other equal human beings. Thats how i see everyone. Being Indians/Pakistani don't make us less/more human beings. And I believe i should respect and love every other human being.

Sorry, I can't find any pictures now but ummm... just check the forum for pics of Pakistani actresses. That's pretty much the model most women subscribe to...

I guess that chick in Salaam e Ishq (The one that plays the ho) has Pakistani-ish features.
